DriveClub by Evolution Studios [PS4]

This game is so fun. I havent had so much fun with a racing game since ages!
Exactly ! The whole focus on graphics amongst the gamers made the gameplay recede into a bg. The fact that the game plays so good has almost been forgotten by console warriors. It looks fab is just the icing on the cake, the gameplay is the delicious cake in there. Lovely game. Hope evolution gets the sale numbers to stay healthy !

Despite my previous negative attitude towards Drive Club, i must confess i am starting have fun. I was about to give up, but then these challenges from a friend turned up, then i figured, if he can, then so can i. And after a few days i am enjoying myself and the scenery swooshing by. Plenty of challenges and cars to drive, i do miss a replay feature.

My opinion on the DLC being part of the game, with locked items, cars and events still stands. And the brakes and me are still not good friends, but at least i have them worked out.

Goods news!

I'm REALLY looking forward to that update. Such a good game. Just when I think I'm about done playing it and want to move on to another game, new stuff comes along.

Cool to hear also that they're making progress with the replays and such.

I thought the Time Trials were already in there, but now I see its 'Team Time Trial'

There is multiplayer time trial. They are going to add team time trial - I guess it's like current team vs team reces but all cars are ghosts.

no car in the game sounds exactly as the real ones, some are close somehow, but still,in the video those are the exact same sounds as the real cars, unless they have updated their sound engine, or made specific sounds for replay mode (could explain why it's so long to come)

I thought the same thing when they released the trailer for the car pack with the Alpine A110-50, but that's how the car sounded in-game too. All of their DLC trailers show in-game engine sounds, don't see why they would fake it for this one, especially when they specify to watchers on twitter to crank up the volume indicating they were proud of the sounds.
