Did I mention I got a job?

This thread shows as having a recent post by Flyingsky, but then I click here and there's no post...
Odd.

Just got my new schedule and after a couple of weeks of working with my bosses over it I think we've FINALLY achieved a happy balance for all. I'm really looking forward to work this week, only 4 days and all the hours have been neatly arranged in such a way that I only miss two hours with my kids.

If you ever happen to start your own restaurant, count me in to travel to your place for a pasta bowl :)

I have no such aspirations. I like a stress free life without headaches, the idea of working management gives me the chills let alone running a place. :???:

I wish i could be content with what i have. With me it just never ends. I think i'll never be happy.
Then again, did i mention i'm getting a huge promotion? That should keep me happy for the next 3 years at least! Sounds like the dream job but knowing myself, i'll start complaining of wanting 'more' after a couple of years. Ah well.

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.

There's no need to be unhappy.

Give it time LB, either you'll find your happy or else it could find you. (Mine found me, quite a pleasant surprise too. :) )
