I could care less about prices in Japan or America, as they already enjoy the usual fair prices, while we are always greeted with the 1 dollar = 1 Euro "conversion".

How fast are people expecting the Blu-Ray drive to scale down in price?

I think that will have a bigger impact than any move to 65nm for the silicon at this point.

Perhaps a price drop as soon as that happens .. (Production > Demand)

Call me pessimistic but I too doubt a price drop will happen next spring.
