No. Frame buffer of 1GB, 2GB suggests its not 384b.

 

Compute & Hull shaders presumably

 

It doesn't suggest, it downright confirms it's 256bit or 512bit (it's not 128bit )

Dirt 2 coupon? What's up with ATI and coupons?

The spec page mentions 5200Mhz memory on a 256-bit bus. Wouldn't take that as gospel since it also says the card only has 800 SPs.

 

I read on several websites that it adds WDDM 1.1 support and it should bring improvements on performance from the revised DirectX runtime code being optimized for multi-core/threaded systems.

Im just curious on how much of an impact it will have, hence why i wrote how i'd like to see those benchmarks re-done after the update is released for vista.

 

The multithreadthing is DX11, not WDDM 1.1

 

What's WDDM 1.1 has to do with game performance?

I guess £299 will be the price in the UK, or there abouts for the 5870.

 

NCIX has a Gigabyte 5870 listed for 433.99 CAD (price changes to 9999.99 after page load).
