Yep. weirdly it was 329 at Amazon for a while even after other retailers had raised back to 399. But now it is up to 379 even at Amazon. Although that is from a 3rd party seller. I suppose they are basically clearancing the Unity bundles and then those are done? A 399 no games X1 may not even make the Amazon top 100 (it's not currently I think).

I thought I had read it while they cleared out the stock, then would return to normal prices. The hourly just now has it at #4, but in more exciting news an Xbox gift card is inching ever closer to the PSN gift cards. I am not sure we have seen these items this close before! I say screw the console race, as the real fun is with the gift cards.

Sony just said they sold 4.1 million consoles to consumers after november 23th.. wtf? They sold less than a million in whole of November in USA. They seem to be suggesting december doubled november

That's not that unusual, the PS3 doubled NPD sales from Nov to Dec several times.

Of course there's always the sold vs shipped thing as well. Sony is probably talking about sold to retailers.

I don't know. I believe I voted for 18 million or slightly under. But I would venture to guess, Sony has sold into retail around 20 million units worldwide.

No it is sold thought. They probably sold to retailer 20 millions PS4 but they send too much PS4 in US, just before Christmas some store were sold out in France. My friends working in one of the biggest Micromania (Gamestop) said they sold 36 PS4 against 1 Xbox One Saturday before Christmas and they were sold out after this day and no PS4 stock before January...

Some SCE executive said that they will have stock problem on Europe for Christmas it was true.

The Wii sells were 20,1 millions to consumer after the second Christmas.

Why? Retailers don't keep the sales of their own hardware a secret from them. Companies subscribe to those services to find out what competing hardware and software did. There's no reason to doubt their internal sales figures.

Sony give shipped number each financial quarter and since last financial quarter they accept Vita failure and PS4 success and they were back to individual shipped number... No more PlayStation family number...
