I like how it looks, now I just want the framerate to be solid(and look a little better if possible:lol:)

Still nothing for the guys who will be playing this on the PS3 tho:sad:

Very slick lighting. LOD change is pretty noticeable otherwise (and shadowmap update rate too...).

Ah... but the RSX can access system memory…

I am indeed keen to see how well their cross platform tech runs on the PS3. ^_^

Video looked great. Noticed some pop-in as well, but it was only in 2 or 3 sections. Can't really focus too much at work, but overall it still looks improved over the demo. Don't really notice ghosting and that generally sticks out at me in Reach and Crysis MP demo.

Can't wait for the final game to be analyzed.

Looks really good though framerate is very erratic (Gamersyde video). I'll cap some shots from video. Also might game have selective AF? I mean some textures look quit lean at distance.

During what point of development does the framerate become a priority? I don't like seeing framerate problems when I know the game is only one month away

Wow, framerate is quite choppy, its strange considering MP beta.

BTW some hq 720p videos from low and med for comparison:
    low - http://blip.tv/file/get/Kkrt00-Crysis2_low0478.mp4
    med - http://blip.tv/file/get/Kkrt00-Crysis2_med0964.mp4

btw there will be bonus video in about an hour with quite big bug, messing around and some sexy explosions ;]

    -edit-
    Ps. Bonus added ;]

Thank you for these video links, my friend.

What I like is the lighting. I think it is very nice. Especially on the metal cars it looks great. Also some surfaces have good textures. I also like that car is a little bit destructible (although not like we wish)

Unfortunately, draw-distance and bad textures are too many and I see shimmering on walkways and bridges that are not in dof blur. Also, why is there optimus prime on the bridge. It is the wrong game.

The game has beautiful lighting and art design, and it's always very powerful emotional experience to see the same stuff in a game that you see in real life, so choosing NYC as a location was spot on. This will be a treat on the PC, I'm sure, but at least you can still appreciate the art and level design on consoles too.

The aliasing in the distance kinda kills the overall image quality more than the lod "popping". I'm not surprised nor disappointed in Crytek, its about what I expected from this gen of consoles, there is only so much you can do with limited hardware. That said, I still think they did a incredible job with the performance scaling on this engine.

I also have to say that the art direction on the npcs IMHO is a step back from the first game and unimpressive compared to other recent games. The faces, (Gould for instance) really stand out from the rest of the game and mar what is otherwise a great environment with a lot of well done art assets.

That 360 footage looks absolutely amazing, the lighting is just incredible, very impressive. Funny enough the official 360 footage looks better than the pc video running at the 360 config setting. The only problem with the footage is rather aggressive LOD. Hope they get it sorted out or at least minimized before the release.
