He should stop with 'Very High' description, because it'll confuse ppl and he should start to post high quality screens.
It looks like xbox settings, something between gamer and advanced.

Yea and since very high settings are not available.I mean, you can set sys_spec_Full at 4(very high) but it does nothing, its locked.High is the highest in leak...
Gamer settings definitely looks worse than console settings...

To be honest its not such a big difference actually. But what is weird to me is that Edge AA set on 1 looks much better(on 720p) than it ever did in MP beta.I dunno if demo was older build with AA technique not finished yet but it certainly looks crisper.

Well it's 100.00 pixels more so it is somewhat of a difference...:p

Either way the IQ was clearly inferior on my HDTV set when compared to other native 720p titles so any increase on the resolution will be good news.

Anyway the PC version looks amazing both graphically and gameplay-wise so far and that is what matters the most I guess. :D

100000 pixels less actually, quite a lot in my book. I also hope the PS3 version is 1280 x 704 as the config file suggests.

Anyway...It would be very nice if console versions were full 720p since their AA seems to work very well even on trees and thin geometry.

heard they took out lean and prone in the PC version, if so very very disappointing.
Prone, yes. Lean is context sensitive. If you go up against a wall next you press the right mouse button to peak out the nearest corner. Works the same behind waist-height cover, you press the right mouse button to pop out.

kind of like call of juarez 2, good.

"context sensitive" Is far from ideal though, only works on blatantly obvious "hide here" walls, and you have to be upclose agaisn't it, if you are slightly away from it, you have to stand up exposing yourself, in multiplayer this will limit/degrade efficiency. Also if you get behind trash bins, vendor machines, big debris/wrecks, trees etc, it doesn't work and the player will have to expose itself half or completly to get a line of fire degrading efficiency and forcing the player to expose itself. I hope the PC version gets prone and (traditional)lean.

Yep that's what I meant, 1280*720 is 100.000 pixels more. :p

And yes I'm curious to see how the PS3 version looks and runs in comparison, the question is how much can we trust the config files as the 360 version supposedly runs at true 720p.

BTW from what I've seen the game plays just great with the 360 controller and most importantly if you take advantage of the abilities of the character the game turns into something entirely different from your standard FPS game which is awesome news...still haven't seen nighttime gameplay though.

Quite aggresive LOD, iffy framerate at times, but the lighting still looks fabulous! Credit to Crytek for even attempting a console version.

IQ looks much better...Either they improved their AA,either SP runs at full 720p and thus lower frame rate.Or both...Either way much much better than MP and apart from some ghosting and fps me very happy:D

unbelievable. That lighting and the realism of the environment.

beautiful. They have done for consoles (lower settings) more than I ever though they could do considering Crysis was considered the best looking game ever created.
