It not much but here are some pictures.

And crysis 2 running on high end laptop on high and in 3D

I guess this is why there's not any video then

The game looked impressive on the TV, though you can’t tell from these shots. What you can see in the shots of the game is don’t bother trying to watch someone playing a game in 3D without 3D glasses on. No matter how pretty the game is, it will look very strange, and not leave a good impression on you, which is probably why Samsung didn’t want pictures of the TV taken.

Ahh well the next episode of Crysis 2 tv should be anytime from all their hinting, although, they hinted that a month ago too!

Ok somenone needs to dig up the precise specs for that laptop [CPU/GPU/RAM and display resolution].

Its probably the new M17x R3, with a Sandy Bridge and ATI 6970 mobility (comparable to something between desktop 6850 and 6870) and 1080p RGBLED screen.

Display seems too thin for RGB backlit.
-True RGB backlit OCB LCD will be decent, close to CRT IQ.

So, mobile gforce gt 555 is fixed part. What performances does that card have? Is it slower than the stock gtx460 1gb?

Seems a lot weaker than GTX460.

We tested the gaming performance of the GeForce GT 555M with DDR3 graphics memory in a pre sample of the Dell XPS 17. The synthetic benchmarks show a performance slightly above the old GeForce 9800M GT. GDDR5 versions should be slightly faster. Therefore, nearly all current demanding games should run fluently in 1366x768 and high detail settings. Only extremely demanding games like Metro 2033 will only run in medium detail settings. Older and low demanding games like Fifa 11 should run in high detail settings and Full HD resolution.

That is intereseting. Crysis 1 info on 9800M GT [with Intel P9500 CPU with 2.53 GHz and 6 MB L2 cache processor and 4gb of ram]:
First of all we run the ego shooter Crysis, which is known to be very hardware demanding. In the GPU respectively CPU benchmark integrated in this game the 9000 DTX achieved 33-35 fps with a resolution of 1024x768 and on high details. With the same settings the first mission of a real game is well playable. On very high details this notebook still achieves a very good frame rate of 18-20 fps. However. this is already too low for this game to run smoothly.

What can we see from this.... C2 is really good with quad core processors? :)

Someone on incrysis claimed the laptops were running crysis2 at 5FPS.

Full quote. Might be recording 3D of the screen making it look wrong. Doubt they would shwocase it on their laptops at ~5fps and with such hardware there is no way it would run at such low framerate.

F********************k!
There are Crysis2 scene, but no movement & only 5sec. Just garbage.
And looks 5fps. lol

EDIT: Maybe overheating?

(From previous Tomshardware link)
Of course, Crytek has worked hard to make Crysis 2 scalable to a wider range of hardware, this time including consoles, so more machines ever can play Crysis 2. The impressive part is that the machine was rendering it with 3D on with all the settings on high. Frame rate appeared to be very smooth and the 3D graphics were gorgeous.

The one unfortunate thing is that the machine would get hot enough running Crysis 2 that the temperature control would kick in and it would throttle the chips, leading to noticeable slowdown.

Too bad it wasn't shown in Melbourne otherwise I would record a crap ton of footage. The rig he played on was too intimidating though, I was hoping a 560 + a q9450 @ 3ghz would run it on max full HD.

Wake me up when we get some direct feed footage from this game ! Everytime I come in thinking maybe some footage has arrived, everytime I am dissappointed  !

EA announces a X360 exclusive MP demo for 25 Jan !!!!

No Ps3 here either, add to that no PS3 footage uptill now :( ! I smell something fishy here !

And we never had a PS3 beta either. Oh well, there are plenty of other shooters out there.
