Ok somenone needs to dig up the precise specs for that laptop [CPU/GPU/RAM and display resolution].

The game looked impressive on the TV, though you can’t tell from these shots. What you can see in the shots of the game is don’t bother trying to watch someone playing a game in 3D without 3D glasses on. No matter how pretty the game is, it will look very strange, and not leave a good impression on you, which is probably why Samsung didn’t want pictures of the TV taken.

"The XPS 17 laptop with the 3D display comes equipped with the Nvidia GeForce GT 555M graphics card, but if you want 3D, you'll have to buy the NVision 3D glasses separately."

So, mobile gforce gt 555 is fixed part. What performances does that card have? Is it slower than the stock gtx460 1gb?
We tested the gaming performance of the GeForce GT 555M with DDR3 graphics memory in a pre sample of the Dell XPS 17. The synthetic benchmarks show a performance slightly above the old GeForce 9800M GT. GDDR5 versions should be slightly faster. Therefore, nearly all current demanding games should run fluently in 1366x768 and high detail settings. Only extremely demanding games like Metro 2033 will only run in medium detail settings. Older and low demanding games like Fifa 11 should run in high detail settings and Full HD resolution.
First of all we run the ego shooter Crysis, which is known to be very hardware demanding. In the GPU respectively CPU benchmark integrated in this game the 9000 DTX achieved 33-35 fps with a resolution of 1024x768 and on high details. With the same settings the first mission of a real game is well playable. On very high details this notebook still achieves a very good frame rate of 18-20 fps. However. this is already too low for this game to run smoothly.

Someone on incrysis claimed the laptops were running crysis2 at 5FPS.

F********************k!
There are Crysis2 scene, but no movement & only 5sec. Just garbage.
And looks 5fps. lol
Of course, Crytek has worked hard to make Crysis 2 scalable to a wider range of hardware, this time including consoles, so more machines ever can play Crysis 2. The impressive part is that the machine was rendering it with 3D on with all the settings on high. Frame rate appeared to be very smooth and the 3D graphics were gorgeous.
The one unfortunate thing is that the machine would get hot enough running Crysis 2 that the temperature control would kick in and it would throttle the chips, leading to noticeable slowdown.
Some are screen caps from the E3 2010 3D trailer. The rest are from almost a year ago. Some "new" screens (a few look familiar, some look all new)
