[360, PS3] Crysis 2

Definitely. That leak gave them much better response than MP demo and caused far biger hype.I was looking at couple of SP walkthroughs and it looks to be so marvelously made, really really neat and atmospheric.

Can't believe 10 days before release its loosing hype.

I think its the fact that its been receiving so much hype in the past month or so that it just has to die down at some point;)

I'll ask them tomorrow! Hopefully no NDA, considering that the mag's out or at least only days away from getting to the market.

Actually I guess I should not look at anything ...always best to go into games and movies alike mostly as blind as possible imo...but I might not resist a peek.

Yup, I'm on a 100% media embargo on Crysis 2. :p It's pre-ordered and now just waiting to pre-load then play it. :p

Looks like ass ;-)

lol

The only fast bit I saw there is when they sped up the trailer. Besides that it looks much better than the MP at least - I'm guessing that was PC footage.

Not on highest setting. If I would do an educated guess, low-med with maybe some high in some scenes.

Crysis 2 Mythbuster#1 running speed.

would not say that to be honest. The speed mode in crysis 1 felt/looks faster

That's because it is. That video is a load of s***. He reaches the wall in around 2 seconds then it skips forward while he's stuck on the curb.

Also he didn't take into account E<20 so it fails immediately.

What, all these Crysis 2 PC gamer haters dont know what theyre talking about? I'm really shocked to discover that

Nebula already debunked the lesser/consolized FOV in C2 thing they keep spouting like drones at say, neogaf.

Anyways some scenes in new trailer look super hot. I too will be awed if some reasonable approximation of that is delivered on console.

I'll just complain based on that video over some scenes having IMO bad TOD fog and sky color ans ky lighting use. How f* hard can it be to set fog colors, intesity, min/max slope, sky and zenith intensity?

It's easy to make it look decent. It's important to give depth to scene blending foreground with background smoothly.
