Sony Gamer's Day 2008 (May 6, 2008)

I should have realised Mirror's Edge would be there, due to it being on the related games on the Playstation sites original report of the event...

Eurogamer are having technical issues last time I looked. If your gaming news is time critical head somewhere else!

EDIT: They're back up and running it seems.

Joystiq also has a live blog.

GAF has a thread up for this. You'll find screenshots and insiders'/journalists' comments in it (e.g., Games on demo floor, KZ2 playable) : http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=291427

Wow! That's the winiest bunch of people I've ever seen. They're worse than AVS! The list is a disappointment?

Is this a different Hirai? Apologises for the delay of Home and acknowledges the difficult first year for PS3.

This looks like an ingame image to me...

Killzone 2 Feb 2009.

Glad to see it not competing with Resistance 2.

Insomniac put out 3 games, before Gurilla put out 1. *face palm*

Yep looks completly ingame.

Naturally - it may include bullshot techniques (higher AA, higher res) but def in engine. And if so really like the look of the foliage.

"Motorstorm Pacific Rift will have 16 brand new tracks, twice as many as the last outing. We're shown the new vegetation technology, which is there to be bent, broken and crushed. Only the larger vehicles can destroy it, so smaller vehicles have to avoid it or follow larger vehicles."

Nice...interactive foliage! Woo hoo!

The motion-blur may make it look smoother but otherwise I dont see anything hinting it may be a bullshot.

Here is another screenshot
