Now is kind of a slow time. I dont game nearly as much as I message board about them LOL. Never have, really (well, back in the NES/SNES days maybe). So I find that I only make a few game purchases a year, and those are the "triple A" titles.
Anyways, I've been thinking about must have fall games for me. However, there is a budget to consider, so I may not be able to buy 6, 7, 8, $60 games in a couple months.
I came up with three. Halo3, UT3, and Mass Effect. Halo 3 well, the hype is not as much as for previous Halo's imo, but it's still Halo. The single player is still going to be epic. I'm still excited. It's still a day one, 12AM at 24 hr Wal Mart, must buy. The funny thing is it seems like every couple years I do this, I always take off work early so I can be at Wal Mart at 12AM so I can buy Halo the first minute. such that I think I will see the same handful of guys there to buy Halo again this year! Just find that kind of funny.
UT3, well, I'm a longtime PC UT player, seeing the franchise redone in UE3=must buy, most likely.
Mass Effect: This will be a longer, more RPG oriented title, and I'm looking forward to that.
Now, Assassins Creed is also virtually a must buy however, I dropped it just slightly. COD4 is a strong contender for me, I think Bioshock and Brothers in Arms could be possibles, depending how they shape up near release (Brothers in Arms less likely, as I tire of WW2 games). Battlefield: Bad Company could shove it's way in, if it turns out amazing (though I'm not sure it's a 2007 title).
