Thats how it is with all games.....
I remember MGS2, far cry, GTA3..... mind blowing back then, now its..... things dont age all that well.
not all, some older games stays good to play
- xenogears
- xenoblade chronicles (but the remake on switch is def better)
- freelancer (does microsoft still owns the IP?)
- destiny 1 (and its still superior to Destiny 2 in some aspects)
dunno for MGS2, FC, and GTA3. hasnt played them again.
but for halo series, yeah, it does have lots of boring moments. I wonder how the heck i can stand those when i played it years ago.
anyway,
now im playing Hellblade again.
But this time not in VR, but in OLED TV + 5.1ch surround sound. The "voices" sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better in VR or non-VR with headphones. But everything else is better compared to in VR.
Although if i am more brave, i think the in VR would be way better. I simply cant stand it in VR. Its waaaaaaaaay too scary. Really felt like people were talking beside me, behind me, etc.
Also grabbed Shenmue 3 on epic discount.... uh.... this game felt like an indie game or early access game. i cant skip cutscenes, i cant change graphic option without exiting the game, the dialogues are stilted and weird, the animation looks dated as heck, the UX got baffling visual FX, etc.
