Why don't you put your LCD TV's sharpening on 30-50 and then up it to 100 and then maybe it will be clearer for you?
It's not my tv, I don't have the demo. Thanks for rubbing it in

I just didn't figure this game being suited to having large groups of enemies at once. That one firefight looked pretty dragged out from the demo vid; Guys just kept coming. I kind of figured this game for more of a cinematic encounter, like smaller groups of intense action.
Still, I haven't played it, so I might love it if I sat down with it, but I don't think I like the pace of the game from that walk-through.
With the lack of quality games available my son and I eagerly anticipated playing the demo yesterday - so disappointing seeing a 5 year old burst in to tears!"
Yeah... up to about 5 at a time is a handful. If there are more of 'em, they will be all over the map (Even if you're behind cover, they will find ways to get you pretty quickly).
I think this is one of the main differences between Resistance and Uncharted, and it's not too obvious from the videos. Apart for the Berserkers, it typically takes a Chimera more time to start charging or flanking me. So there is enough room/time to play with weapons. In Uncharted, while some of them stay behind cover, those in the open are on the move constantly to nail me (sometimes from cover to cover). So the pressure is on me (constantly) to keep a tab on their rough positions. Even when I change cover, these guys are quick to adjust.
Compared to CoD4, CoD4 is more scripted and the soldiers are less intelligent (but it's okay ! due to the chaos and intense battle all around us). I really like how the different games have their own unique situations to deal with.
Although I am pretty fast to clear the level now...
If Uncharted adds more on-screen enemies, I hope they give me a rocket launcher. The grenades are not too effective: These guys can see and evade grenade, so they will take defensive action, and the obstacles tend to limit the blast radius too. So my grenade usually just blow 1 guy up.
Yeap... try the store demo (assuming it's going to be there) ! I think most people will feel awkward the first time round (especially the aiming). But subsequent playthrough should be smoother and you can start to execute your strategy/tactics instead of reacting to the pirates.
Ooooohh.. yeah that sucks. I can understand that feeling. Sony and ND, hurry up !
If you see a guy with a grenade, shoot his arm and he will drop it - then "KABOOOM""!
wish I could try it
Yes we need to wait to 22 november Then they wil release the demo on the European PSN stores. There will be no patch or any kind of workaround.
Uh, you have ZERO evidence of that. As I posted...they are aware of the problem, AND they are working on it.

Only a dozen or so different european sites that are reporting this. And that as an update to their previous stories.
IGN (I know)

It is really bad, or is it me?
Those are areas where everything is in shadow, without a local/dynamic indirect light term you're not going to notice any shadow.
BTW, Drake reminds me of Malcolm Reynolds a lot... Particularly as he's falling down with the parachute in the intro, yelling crapcrapcrapcrapcrap...
Christophe Balestra, here, and I’m Co-President at Naughty Dog. I wanted to give a final update on the Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune demo situation.
We’re really sorry about what happened and didn’t anticipate this at all. We just didn’t know people from other territories could connect to the US PLAYSTATION Network Store and download demos … now we do! We’ve been too busy working on the game to wrap our head’s around the infrastructure of the PSN.
We absolutely did not plan the demo to be region locked. As soon as we figured out the problem existed, Sam Thompson called me and I jumped into my car, drove to the office and fixed it right away. It’s an honest mistake and we didn’t try to prevent anybody from enjoying the Uncharted demo. I feel even more sorry because most of the people who experienced the problem are in Europe and I’m European myself.
So again, we’re really sorry about what happened and it wasn’t done on purpose. The good news is it’s now fixed and a new demo of Uncharted has been posted to the US PLAYSTATION Network Store so the entire world can enjoy it.
Thanks to Sam for taking the heat yesterday and for letting us know about the issue.
You can do that in the demo. Melee someone from behind and Nathan will jump on their back and snap their neck. Also when Elena finally join the party, she will be able to take some heat off Nathan. And here, we probably will get to learn more melee moves (e.g., snap neck from behind).
