Tom Clancy's The Division [PS4, XO]

Ok. I know I've been a downer on the forums, but this one has my attention! I'm trying to think of something I didn't like in that and I'm not coming up with anything. Maybe not knowing what exactly is happening/ happened but... gameplay is king.
 
I don't know. I think some of those screenshots are really really impressive looking. I just wasn't too enamoured with what they showed of gameplay.
 
Ubisoft's got gen interfaces down pat

This game reminds of Ghost Recon : Advanced Warfighter released for the Xbox 360, many years ago, in the gameplay department.

Technology and graphics wise this game makes PS3 / 360 games look like Atari 2600 games.

Well what do you think is better? Because my professional opinion is that this is almost too good to believe and head and shoulders above anything else I've seen so far.
 
That looked great too! Open-world & co-op! Are there any other co-op games like this coming up?

There were other games that impressed me more, textures wise, but this one has the most convincing lighting, and finally the objects -like plastic cups and bottles- of the scenery look real, and not the stick out a mile objects we are used to this generation with the PS3 / X360
 
Wow ! Just watched the Direct feed gameplay from Gamersyde and this is clearly so much better than even Watch Dogs. Ubisoft is on a roll ! This is so awesome ! Amazing ! This definitely beats everything else in next gen goodness, if it is actually running on any of the next gen consoles.

It sure looks nice, but in my experience UBI can't get the game play quite right. Almost all of the Tom Clancy games have sucked. Certainly all of the Ghost Recon inspired ones have.
 
I saw this demo on Youtube and was blown away, demo of E3 so far. I thought for sure it was on a PC too. Mildly surprised it was running on a PS4 so well.

PS4 controllers are PC compatible? I doubt it. And they played The Crew with 360 controllers (PC version 99% sure), so not a reason not to use them again if the game was running on PC. Of course, this is purely speculation.

bf4 probably.

the lighting in that on part on the gif is cool but really this looks like watch dogs, or even kind of current gen.
 
BF4 has much lower poly count, both on the characters and in the scenery, and the art direction is a little less inspired. Here you can tell there's a lot more thought behind every object, piece of clothing, light source and so on. It looks more beautiful if you get what I mean.
 
i dont watch this and go WOWWW. I just dont. I go man that looks really great! But not wow.

But very nice looking game yeah.

Some of the BF4 stuff is just way way above this, but then again this is open world (although, it looks kinda guided whats been shown, and BF4 looks just crazy in MP too)

GAF is down so I cant get the gif of the plane sliding by in BF4, but that part's insane
