Could someone scan PSW or OPS2 when it covers Kin (or killzone)

Mmm could it be that the soldiers jumping out of chopper are those cute little bunnies of Conker Live & Uncut . It IS CGI :p
 
More info, this time from an European artist, working in UKK who happens to know a member of the Kin team:

The member, under a NDA, only told him that:
First of all, (from his very own words): it uses 100% of PS2, just like GT4.
Second: it's not an FPS but a third person shooter.
Third: Characters are modeled with 7000 polys each and using three different templates (for different levels of detail and poligonal quality).

Sorry, that's all he said, and the artist is just that, an artist, and he is no tech head (just like me, so if I wrote something wrong, I'm sorry).

Edit: Seems Rudger Hauer (sp?), from Blade Runner is working in the voice overs...

and again with this 100%.....

it is utterly impossible to get 100% out of a platform. ANY platform...

still, sounds cool... might be a contender to Jak2... weird having Sony hyping KIN as the best looking game ever, while they have ND with Jak2 struggling to get someone to say the same about them...
 
I've always considered the 100% as a simple way of talking, not to be taken word by word... a "we'redoing our best" thingy (but coming from a team member).

yeah and ND were "doing their best" with J&D1 before realising they could squeeze more performance out of the machine and "do their best again" with Jak2...
"Doing their best" is VERY different from "100%"
 
Well, you may have a point in the fact that, at the very least, is a very misleading thing to say, specially these days.:oops:

I thought it was abundantly clear from previous posts on BM, that barring some uber breakthrough we just are not going to see BM in PS2 titles on the same level of say Halo(1or 2).

the current and next gen of PS2 titles will look great because they play on the systems strentghs (framebuffer tricks, vertex programs and particles). whilst cleaning up IQ a little.

having said that the gap in perfoemence between Xbox-->PS2 clearly isn't going anyway so we don't need to be reminded of this ad nauseam TYVM.

yeah, just textures... if it IS BM, then.. what a waste of resources.... still, why are we talking about that pic when it's not even from Kin?
