Square´s lineup seems pretty good this year. A shame that so many of their games take an eternity to get here, though (and there´s little doubt in my mind that FFXII was "delayed" to have their release schedule much more spread out). What is S E going to release during the holiday season anyway, or are they going to rely on SO3 :? ? And why is DQVIII not being shown alongside the other games?

As for Sega´s lineup, it´s pretty solid. It doesn´t have the titles I would personally look forward to, but it´s ok.

Amazing island is a "Monster Game" à la Pokémon or Monster Rancher.
It's on shelves in japan since january, its sold poorly BTW.

It's developed by Ancient, the studio that created Story of Thor (Beyond Oasis, Legend of Oasis), the excellents action Rpg on Genesis/Megadrive and saturn...
That reminds me, that a sequel to that game could be awesome.

oh man... spent 20 hours total passing it once and then doing the 2nd play. The only sword I don't have is the wooden training sword because I just can't quite do a 400 hit combo (I heard it was garbage anyhow...)

The moonlight blade is sooooo cheap. Killed the last boss in like 10 seconds. Otherwise, he's just a pain in the a$$! Definitely worth the time destroying all the levels just to find the lost souls to get that moonblade

What level are you at (stuck?)?
