Too hard i'll do a summup
The first one speak about the ps3 availability In UK, The official playstaion mg in UK has stated that thier will be 150000
ps3 available during the ps3 launch period (the number a weeks concerned is not stated)
And it also speaks about the fact that in BENELUX (belgium, Luxembourg, Netherland) only the premium version will be available at launch, they state that they know nothing for Fance.

The second article is a summup of an interview between the ubisoft pdg and reuters, where the first one says that the ps3 price is too hight to attract mass market , but launch period will be succefull mainly because of geeks. (pretty obvious). He says too that he wants a price drop next year. More interesting in regard of the weight of the editor, and quality of their games.

Anyway the post is just for news and some rumours about the ps3 launch.
Rumours can be involved that why it's better keeping comments at theirs lowest.

First just says 150k PS3 for Great Britain at launch.

Second one tell that someone from UBISoft told them he/she thinks that the launch will work well but that thereafter the cost of the system will prevent more sells. (He said basically that only SONY/PlayStation fans will buy it at launch).


Is that even information ?!
The first article doesn't matter and the second, everyone guessed it since months already...

But the french pdg of Ubisoft mean big boss not someone. Even if Ubisoft is located in Canada it's still a french company.

Sorry but I just fail to see a) what the above means, b) where this thread is heading.. Anyways, hasn't all of this been discussed, and Sony reps have already stated that they haven't announced (or even decided?) any specifics regarding any market area.

You've got to love the wondernet. Someone thinks they've read something, publishes it on their site, and it becomes a whisper, that whisper quickly becomes a rumour, then rumour swiftly makes a leap to becoming a strong rumour, which in turn becomes reality and then becomes an ESTABLISHED FACT.

Ahem anyway, such was the case today when some European and US websites thought they'd dug up a real exclusive from our colleagues over at Official PlayStation Magazine, claiming that in their latest issue OPM had categorically said the UK would get 150,000 shiny new PS3s come launch time in November. A quick call quickly put us right, with OPM pointing out they'd, erm, actually said no such thing and that it was based on a speculative corporate analyst's quote.

I'll never forget when they claimed to have gone to a press meeting with Konami where they discussed the exclusive MGSX for te Xbox, only to have Konami say no such meeting ever took place.
