PS3 backward compatibility quality issues

I don't have a PS2 anymore so I can't compare, but according to these two videos colours seem darker or desaturated when output from the PS3.

That last vid was put together by a real effin' tool btw, but it was linked on Ars and really demonstrates what I'm talking about.

Some is somewhat bothering me at the end of the video... at the end is written that the X360 is so good that, it even enhanced the color display and the anti aliasing, without mentioning that you need to get a patch for every one of the Xbox games that have been made retrocompatible. Looks like a big fan troll to me.

Anyway everything is fixed on the ver 1.5 (and the problem was due to the TV screen more than the system... but it suck*d)
