well, it's a mistake from ChatGPT. Actually, the guy that did this found a few mistakes on some comparisons.

The ps5 has a faster NVME + dedicated hardware for compression using kraken and stuff like it. MS has a slower nvme and has its own compression tech to increase speed. I believe the ps5 drive is around 5-5.5gb/s while the xbox series is 2.4

The ps5 and xbox do not have replaceable drives. However they both have the option to add additional drives. The ps5 allows you to remove a body cover and then a smaller panel to install a standard nvme drive. The xbox series allows you to use a hot swappable external nvme card drive. The ps5 has the advantage that it takes a standard drive but its a process to get in and change it. The xbox is at a disadvantage because its a custom piece of hardware but it has the advantage that you can just unplug and change drives as fast as you want

I've half a mind to close this thread. Certainly it bares no relation to DF Retro talk. It's akin to posting random internet search results. This thing algorithmically selecting information and understanding none of it isn't a great source of insight.

At best we can say this chatbot can approximate a typical internet fanboy, confidently presenting misinformation as fact, if somewhat politer. I don't see the value in discussing its collated misinformation. It remains in its own thread just in case something positive grows from it - maybe a discussion on how 2006 and 2012 are "around the same time" in console terms.

fanboys? hehe

N64 vs PS is the most interesting to me. There was an old thread where various developers discussed them and I don't think a clear consensus has ever been established to this day.
