Actually, it was delayed from the 21st to to the week commencing on the 27th, but some people had it earlier.

When is Rock Band 2 coming out again? I love to see how that would fair.
~3, it had kind of a soft launch due to the recall.
If you only care about the top 10 I guess, but that's a silly way to view things.
Didn't expect the PS3 to do so bad this month. October is usually not a bad month. Unless things starts picking up things are looking very grim for the PS3.
X360 doing about the same as last year with a rather big slash in price, i expected more. The wii is a monster.

It's been out since Sept 14 for 360, since Oct 19 for PS3, Wii not out yet. Guitar Hero released for 4 platforms on Oct 26.

Thanks!Wii has been in stock at amazon for the last couple days. The first time it's been in stock at amazon for over 24 hours since it launched supposedly. Also I've heard retail reports of huge supplies going to brick and mortars. Nintendo is surprising me and coming with the heat (aka plentiful supply of Wii). Their November numbers could be ginormous. 1.2-1.5 million?
For the rest of the charts: Good result for 360, poorer than expected for PS3 (also, this should be the last month we see gaudy year over year increases on PS3 as it got it's drop to 399 in Nov 07). Surprising that 360 actually outsold the previous 5 week month, on the 2nd month of it's price drop. I'm guessing chalk it up to games (Fable 2, Gears coming in) but I dont know. Wii very high as a few outlets like vghcarts had expected. The reports of huge Wii stock continue.
Software, Fable 2 did as I expected if not less. Socom and LBP did better than I expected, especially Socom. And LBP had a very sputtering launch to handicap it as well. I believe the official date ended up Oct 28 which would have given it 3 days in NPD? Although some trickled out prior.

Most of these titles had late launch days, and now with GeoW2 and Resistance, we're almost done with big titles for the year (I think PoP is left) so we're probably gonna see several of these names next month. I wouldn't even say GH:WT bombed yet, though Activision probably isn't happy that it's underperformed compared to last year.

I know LBP was leaked all over the week before but officially, LBP/Fallout3/Motorstorm were launched on Oct 28? Add Motorstorm 2 to the bomba list with GH:WT and the PS3 and Wii versions of Rock Band 2.
With 3 exclusives in one month, Socom/LBP/Motorstorm, PS3 hardware failed to move.
Thank god junk like Wii Music bombed.
