Phil Spencer has said that the next Fall is going to be totally crazy for the Xbox One, to the point that they wonder how are they going to ship all the games planned by then.

He said is happy what first party have brought this Fall. Phil says the sales for Sunset Overdrive look good so far

They have a roadmap for updates for 2015. Seems like monthly updates will continue.

Talks about they really do look at Xbox Feedback and encourage people to use it.

Phil talks about working with Ted Price. Glad that Insomniac was able to make a game they wanted.

Talk about Halo:MCC and the video documentary.

Phil talks about how they moved on for Holiday 2015 and E3 2015. He said next Fall will be crazy and doesn't even know how they will ship all the games they are planning for the Fall. Said it was possible that they might have to move some games so they wouldn't be overcrowding (starts around 36:15).

Talks about gaming on Windows. Will have more to say in 2015.
Said it was a good time to compete this holiday with the bundles and the price drop.

Talks about his family and snowboarding with his daughters (one who just started college)

Talks about the excitement at Microsoft about Xbox. Mentions the questions people had 6 months ago if Microsoft was committed to Xbox and says the support within the company has never been stronger.

Well I see a momentum for the xbox one, this fight is not over.
I think so, my hunch is that the Xbox One is going to enjoy a solid second place if Nintendo does nothing other than release their exclusive games, which keeps them going, but sometimes you need to open up the possibilities. A draw in the generation like in the previous one is something I don't fathom now.

I quite enjoy listening to those podcasts. Also my platonic love of my friends' list is there,

I have her in my friends list -just like Major Nelson- but she never notices me, because I am just a follower to her. :(

She also usually appears in Major Nelson radio and Google+ hangouts. :smile2:

l0llipop, if you ever see Ruin of Palmira online as a follower that's just me!!:LOL:

I had like 20 something friends on X360, but on Xbox One I have more than 2 hundred, 'cos now I enjoy that a lot and you don't have to play with them to enjoy having so much, because they send you gifts on Diablo 3, you can confront their ghosts on Powerstar Golf, and many cool things like that, etc etc).

Plus you can just have your classic friends on favourites and stuff like that, it's really nice now. Even if we don't play online that much -you never know-, if ever, and you want to add me tkf I'd add you back. Addition is seamless and I don't pester friends at all -barely play online-. cheers!

That's the south bridge.

Yes for sure , but i want to know is it possible there is a chip on XO board that play role of south bridge and second SoC at the same time?

For example a chip like this:

Stratix 10 FPGAs and SoC family is ideal to meet your high-performance, high-bandwidth, and low power requirements in the communication infrastructure, cloud computing and data centers, high-performance computing, military, broadcast, test and measurement, and other applications - See more at: http://www.altera.com/devices/fpga/stratix-fpgas/stratix10/stx10-index.jsp#sthash.gnc6bbxd.dpuf

Sorry if my question is very odd!! , I am not a expert or a tech guy.

Chip packages like that are extremely generic, so having the same external shape doesn't indicate much at all about what the actual chips are. It's sort of like saying two medications are the same because both are inside similar gelatin capsules.

The actual connections to and from the southbridge tend to be more modest, since its needs are not that significant. As a result, high-performance anything tends to be very unlikely since it couldn't communicate those results quickly enough to make a difference.

You know how it is, you find one sock and then you expect there to be another and so you spend ages looking for the matching sock and start to see it everywhere.

But eventually, you have to just let it go and accept that there's only one sock. o_O

Maybe the hardware engineers might learn something from all of these rumours for the next round of consoles; start hiding chips on the motherboard. It seems to be more fun that way.

I swear some people are confusing the Xbox One for an Escher drawing.

You obviously mean SoC.

Microsoft is now letting people outside the company try out its long-in-development "enhanced reality" technology. Grand Theft Auto parent publisher Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said today on Bloomberg TV that he was invited to Microsoft's headquarters to try it out. It is unclear, however, if Zelnick got to see the RoomAlive demo or Microsoft's other secret VR project.

Whatever the case, Zelnick said he was excited with what he saw.

"The demo that I had was at Microsoft's headquarters in a room given over to this [technology], and you had an immersive headset on, and there are characters that appear to be real, and you'e interacting with the characters and they're not real, and it's pretty extraordinary," he said.

Though he was floored by the demo, Zelnick said he's not sure yet about its commercial appeal.

A room + An headset = Forzatella glasses experience. :D
