Voice assistant ? After major SIRI failure, almost useless «ok google» voice control on android, why would «cortana» be better ?

Kinect voice control is a cool option, but past initial wonder, it is not that useful, even worse when my children play in the same room...

To you. I use it all the time. Better yet, my dad (on a grandparent and fishing visit) learned how to navigate to the TV through the XB1 simply by watching (rather listening to) me one time.

He was flabbergasted when I went to work one morning and forgot to load up the TV app (I did this for the first few days of his visit so he could watch his Westerns). After work, I was met with "How do you turn on the damn TV?, You need to fix that shit so I can use the it!!!" I laugh then demonstrated by saying "Xbox On" then "Xbox, watch TV" and no more complaints.

Siri, google voice and even cortana can be the winmo and blackberry of voice control. Eventually someone may come up with the iOS/Android version of VC.

I guess you don't see the promise in OCR or Morpheus either.

As somebody uses Siri a fair bit (for things where it's faster than using the screen UI) and has been using Dragon Dictate on OSX for years, I can attest that before voice recognition gets truly reliable it has to learn your voice and this takes time and perseverance.

Anybody expecting a flawless, or even great, experience out of the box is setting themselves up for disappointment. It will take a real breakthrough in voice recognition before it can understand everybody's voice with no training.

Ive been playing Forza 5 for 3 months never seen even as much as a studder. Killer instinct is locked 60 fps as far as I know but I am not sure it fits with the discussion as its 720p. Trials fusion being 900p is really not a big deal as long as it has decent AA. With the sharpen filter removed from the upscaler alot of people wont even notice that it is 900p.

Harnessing the power of Kinect, Xbox One users can drink actual soda to complete the game's various soda chugging challenges (or at least mimic the action to control the game). Also included is Soda Drinker Pro's secret game Vivian Clark, a lucid dream-like platforming mini-game. The Xbox One version will also feature exclusive levels, including a "Drinking Soda Through Time" experience, offering soda fans the opportunity to sip in various environments, including the roaring '20s.

After Sebbi's posts about this subject I think this is very surprising (negatively XD)
Sebbbi also said that Trials: Fusion is built with a cross-gen engine that doesn't take full advantage of nextgen hardware. It was in one of the threads where people were bitching and moaning about the quality (aka resolution) and performance of launch titles.

Xbone GPU has about 70% of the roar powah (flops) of the PS4, and Trials runs at about 70% of the resolution of the PS4 version. Both are locked at 60 fps.

This means that Red Lynx aren't being particularly held back by the 16 ROPs (or at least, no more than by ALU) and that they aren't being particularly held back by the the split memory pools or esram.

This is pretty damn cool, and by these metrics they're doing better than anyone else with a 60 fps multiplatform game to date. And if the Xbone is at this time still left with a 10% GPU reservation ....

Basically: Sebbbi for president.

I'm sure the game is going to look great on all platforms. Playstation is getting Trials for the first time, which is awesome. Everybody wins if everybody buys Trials. I'm really excited to see what kind of crazy stuff the new extreme difficulty tracks are going to involve.
