Seems like. I'm not sure how many people there are that don't have wifi and an Internet connection fast enough to validate a disc before install, but I guess those people are out of luck.

Speed is not an issue here, auhentication check is really small and fast. But people who DONT HAVE ANY NET ACCESS are screwed.

Forza already looks like it has toon shading compared to what Sony showed with Drive Club.

in your dreams

I think we can all agree that post is a recent turnaround from you and not representative of what you've been rambling on about for the last month or two.

we all agree that you're wrong in almost everything and I was right in change specs and cloud

now go to your VGLeaks.com and search for a "more than 200 GB/s system bus" and Cloud (special sauce for you)

You are putting too much faith in PR. Look back at the xbox 360 launch the BW numbers put out there...

also very funny "Last edited by Xenio; 21-May-2013 at 02:40"

lol your sister, the date of editing is minutes after the post and well before the conference, buy a brain ;)

you're wrong!

and the BW will not get over 200GB/s with only "upclock"
eSram 102 GB/s, now RAM 140 GB/s? 384 bit bus + upclock?
Wow, one out of three, and the one that had already been rumored for ages (expanded XBox Live)

And you can get 200 with a simple upclock. GPU -> ~1GHz == >132GB/s eSRam bandwidth
+ 68 GB/s DDR3 and you're at >200GB/s

Not that I think they've done that. I'm still in the "no changes" crowd, I think it's just creative math, like they're counting the 30GB/s CPU-GPU interconnect separately.

Oh yeah the clock is not set correctly on this site. at 2:40 pm my time was 40 mins after the event. My bad...

Still have nothing that suggest a spec change. VGleaks has been spot on.

Its like how you get 278.4 GB/s total system bandwidth in teh xbox 360. ;)

We have no idea how they arrived at that figure, every other upgrade you fantasized about turned out to be false, and cloud augmented processing is more a pipe dream than Gaikai backwards compatibility.

maybeyour creative math is a bad math
102 + 68+ 30 =200, how it's "more than 200 GB/s)

maybe you're counting usb3, sure, I like your logic. now the nda it's lifted, and if you talk as this you too don't know anything about specs, confirmed.

The NDA is _not_ lifted, and I can still not talk about non-public things.
And it's 102.4 + 68.2 + 30 == 200.6, which is clearly "more than 200 GB/s"

He's not wrong. 200 GB/s internal bandwidth is not the same as saying that CPU+GPU has a total of 200GB/s. God knows how they added the bandwidth up to 200GB/s.

Exactly what I think. Instead of giving details on what each is they've opted for "everything added together is ____ and we're going to give it another name that doesn't explicitly tell you the whole truth, but the number is huge so it's going to sound really nice."

The NDA is _not_ lifted, and I can still not talk about non-public things.

Ta-dah~ Thumbs up for creative math and nouns.

Probably the same mathematical gymnastics that had them claiming 360 was a 1TF machine last gen (And Sony claiming the PS3 was 2TF! They've actually gone backwards there as PS4 is only 1.8TF)

Edge doesn't deserve a Kudos for getting always online wrong.
All of them got it wrong, imho. They spread rumours one way or another.

As I suspected, they scarcely mentioned the specs, which confirms that they have something to hide, not to lose the paper numbers war, which is important for some people.

I wonder how the console can be so large!! It's not like it has a Titan GPU inside or something like that
