london-boy, you are the last person who can talk of "fair", you lead your discuss to personal attack and personal insults, stop it NOW, I'm free to talk of some aspects of the game that I don't like, understand this?
I repeat, so even you, maybe, can understand the concept:
I'm free to talk of some aspects of the game that I don't like

I do this in a civil way, I don't stop to talk about a game only because you want to decide who can talk and what can't, so if this hurts you, don't read, but don't insult calling troll the people that are different opionions from you, and grow and be civil.

My opinion is that the models are bad: there're a great lack of detail in the skin, the envirorments are average, nothing of special for next gen, almost empty, not interactive
the self shadowing is exagerate: the shadows are too black

if this is good for some, I respect others opinion, hey we are talking of VG, but mine deserves respect, I give evidence to my opinion, I discuss in civil way, if you can't do this, close the browser and go out of home to breath some air.

No one call you troll when you trash 360 games with your 100 post-per-day, ok?

I prefer a thread where the people discuss (I repeat, in a civil way) than a thread where all says "whoaa" "yeah" "VF the best game evar" "vf5 FTW"
leave this king of threads to others boards of lower level

Moonblade, you like a skin without detail, there's no problem, it's your personal opinion, like the mine is
I post screenshots because we are on a board, there're other person than you and me, if you don't like, skip my replies
and yes, there're people that says that vf5 is the best thing out of there.

all VG are VG, but buying the best makes sense, for FPS, BEP in my opinion must be as real as possible, in vf5 the fighters looks like mattel doll, I don't like it and I want to be free to discuss without london boy that insults me or others that want to stop me to discuss

    edit:
yes I like the real thing, I've a 10 years of Kick Boxing and Mae Mai Muay Thay

oh please, everything looks like plastic given the correct skin sweat, skin tan, skin health and light exposure...

great Tan, healthy skin and sweat makes it look like plastic.....! shit, the trick is used in most movies and baywatch girls.

some of you need to learn how to watch real-life as it really is.

what most of you are missing, is that games still dont recreate BODY FLUIDS!
fat, water and muscle beneath the skin. So, when a still shot can look real, a moving game looks like plastic because it looks rigid!

its not the skin that looks plastic, its the rigid bodies
    bah, waste of time :)

blutsunami, you and london boy are searching the flame, are you?

    edit to add:
dskneo, the pic that you have posted have a lot of detail on the skin =) they don't look plastic, they reflects off course, but plastic is when the skin have zero detail, english is not my first language (this is clear, I apologize for this) but I hope to have cleared the point
I don't think that the rigid body is to blame, other games looks 1000 miles better with rigid bodies =)

maybe a year past, but now I really can't judge this models better than bad or average

Detail aspect its a different story.

    zero detail = perfection

i dont know about you, but i dont see maxim girls with zits and shit on the skin. They look like dolls.
Give them a little sweat (baywatch kind of girls) and you have the so much wanted "plastic skin" everybody wants to have.

    Healthy looks sells good.
Detailed skin ( = not perfect skin) doesn't look good/healthy.

Detailed skins are for drama games... Silent hills etc...

here: which one you wanna jump?

Detailed skin and plastic skin are words appart in theirs objectives

Detailed skin= drama stuff (VF5 is a pretty perfect-hollywood-type fighting game, Like DOA...)
Plastic skin = maxim girls, baywatch girls, hollywood macho mans etc (A character with perfect skin will scare you?... thats why drama games have shit loads of details. morbid detail)
