hey ... give them enough time and computers and i'm sure they could have designed the cell chip. Right now I have a thousand monkeys working on landing on the moon . Once they complete that i will give them the task of desigining cell.

you allocate CPU's for processes. allocating for MT has no meaning.

according to what has been made public about Cell, it is several processors on a single chip. so, you could already say that PS3 is a multi-processor machine.
