I'm not missing anything Patsu. The Pure demo is much better. The handling/visuals/textures/etc. are all better in Pure. Either way, enjoy MS2. When you do donuts on a bike in the dirt in the same area repeatedly, you'll certainly notice the difference in terms of grooves and kick up. In MS2 there is NO difference on the ground. How much experience both of you have on bikes again?

For some strange reason, I actually enjoy these new commercials for MS2 and R2. They feel really "old school" like early videogame commercials from the 90's.

I don't mind the live-action part, the in-game portion has to look fun. This one is not bad. I also like the other gameplay video I posted above.

I played both Pure and the MS2 demos extensively and I must say that the MS2 for me looks and plays a lot better than Pure.

God damn. The physics is unbelievable. And the mayhem top notch.

I managed to get first with all three vehicles in the demo and I must say that the attributes of each vehicle are really felt.

Simply brilliant!

I am tempted to buy it, but I hardly played the first one due to the load times and the demo that runs from HDD took ages to load so I'm not too hopeful about it this time either.

At least they have got rid of the vehicle selection screen that took ages to load each car every time you went to a new one.

"If this would have launched with the PS3, it would have been fantastic, but the bar has been raised, etc etc". Really?

I mean, they're basically saying a lot of launch games got a free pass, but they still gave them good scores anyway. A lot of folks are all guilty of this though, I can't count how many good reviews PDZ got...the horror!

That's why I was confused, but, in the end, they gave it a score that I think is fair, but their reviews always seem so...off base. The review rarely matches up with the score, IMO.

Still, can't wait to pick it up, loved the first one, and this one seems leagues better.

They also said it's the best off road racer you can get too somewhere in the video review.

They contradict themselves at almost every turn. I have ignored them since the Grid controversy.

Now I'm hearing again on 1up that Motorstorm in the final version has no motion controls. Despite the good review 1up is giving it in the podcast, I'm not buying it until the motion controls are in. The motion controls were exactly what made it fun for me to play offline with people who rarely game, and it was my preferred method of play. As long as it's not in, the game doesn't exist to me.

Wake me up when they patch it back in.

I agree with Arwin, it was fun with the motion control, if its not there, no point for me in getting it.
I like motion control stuff, I try to use it in Wipeout HD to, even if everybody wipes the floor with me then.
