Mass Effect 3

Wow, even the PC CE is sold out. Only thing left is the PC download CE and the PS3 CE.

Anyone else think ME3 will be the best selling one in the series at launch? I'm guessing a lot of copies of ME1 & 2 sold later after various discounts. Many people who bought them on Steam sales (or at $20 for the 360) and such may feel the need to see how Commander Shepard's story ends.
 
Me3 will be on all consoles right out of the gate, so yeah, I think it will be the best selling of the series.

I managed to get the demo.
What was the point of that kid? lol

The armor looks much better this time!
I remember even the PC version the armor had low res textures.

That's very surprising, because I had a feeling this game was being launched on the quiet.

I've only seen all the new videos recently.

I still wonder if they are going to create a launch trailer that can beat this amazing one from Mass Effect 2. :oops: :oops: I don't think they could surpass this, actually.

 
Well, I suppose it's not such a big secret now that there is a marketing campaign gearing up in the background, but I can only hope that you'll like it... :)
In fact there already been a public preview of the new trailer's nearly complete version at an EA event in New York and I've read some reports on it on the net.

But the ME2 launch trailer is really hard to live up to, indeed...

Hey guys, just a quick question about ME2. The first game ends after the last mission. You can start from the beginning with the same character, but you cannot continue with the first game. Is this the same for ME2? I am at the moment just before using the Omega 4 relay, but I wonder if I should do the arrival and shadow of the broker DLCs first, or do the main mission first and since it does not end, I can do the DLCs later.

You can continue ME2 after completing the main quest.

However some of the DLCs are fun because they add some extra weapons that you could use throughout the whole game. I think you get a new submachine gun with Lair, not sure about Arrival and the others.

Yeah, the trailer's 90-sec cut debuts during The Walking Dead. We've only been told last friday, at the company carnival party, so we had something more to celebrate ;)

Btw i've asked on GAF why there is no holster weapon button and got answer i wasnt expecting

It's been cut from the game entirely, because of, according to BioWare, console RAM limitations, and having to store the separate animations in the RAM taking up too much space.
