mm... I would have liked a co-operative survival mode, although I suppose the CoD survival mode is basically what it'd be like (repair fortifications, run out between waves for resources). Maybe make it a little more progressive with the humans falling back on other locations as players get overrun.

Oh well.

only a few tiny flaw, which is the friendly AI being invisible, this game is definite the game I will remember forever. Easily game of the gen.

does CD lens cleaner works on PS3? there's a bursh on the disc and i dont think it can goes into the slot loading drive

To me it almost seems like TLoU installs and de-installs data everytime you boot the game up. The initial load takes an awfully long time. If that was the price to pay for not having an initial installation then that's a pretty shitty alternative.

The digital version is pretty fast imo.
I didn't stopwatched it or anything, but I can say that it loads much faster than Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3.

thats what im experiencing. So its not this old PS3's fault that i experience long loading time when starting the game.

I want to keep the PS3 keep running when im away so i can play immediately but im not brave enough to do that. it make loud fan noise, almost as loud as my old Xbox 360.

DD load times is much faster in my experience...really a big difference!

Try Survival mode with no listen mode... with no character or weapons upgrades.
ND should add a Realistic mode where it only take 1 shot to kill or be killed. That'd be amazing.

the gears thing that needed to upgrade char and weapon seems very hard to find. I already got a bunch of them and can upgrade but theres no damage modifier upgrade or auto aim upgrade

im completely sux at shooting things using analog stick.

how to DISABLE SIXAXIS accelerometer in this game?

its really anoying to get subtitle disabled/enabled on cutscene. Joel suddenly punch things mid-game.
happen easily when i change my seating position.

I think you will do fine without weapon upgrades, but you should upgrade your holster.

Yeah, me think it may be installing the starting level assets to HDD every time we start.

what i dont understand is, why TLOU uninstall it game data?
a mandate from Sony that cached game data need to be uninstalled?

on Xbox 360 games, they just throw a bunch of data on Cache partition inside HDD. Never uninstall it. To uninstall it, i need to manually go to "service menu" or play multiple other games.

so if i keep playing only 1 game, the loading become very fast.

Is there a "Defrag" option on PS3? maybe it can boost some speed?

I maxed out one of my weapons. Didn't upgrade the holster at all. But I played with wall hack turned on, so my situation is probably different from most of the people here.

The game will give you new weapons along the way, feel free to save the gears for those weapons. ^_^

all upgrades are useful, I find this game very balanced. If you look at the trophy list, you will see that a few of them require multi play through (max out stats). Just a head up UNCONFIMED, but I read that your parts and pills don't carry over in new game + just the upgrade stats, so spend all of them when you are close to the end.

Yeah. I'm already really loving the impact of a single bullet in terms of animation, I wish more games had that. And I could definitely see a mode be actually fun where a hit is realistic in terms of impact. Perhaps detect when something is a non-lethal fleshwound and allow you to patch that somehow, but that's about it.
