Really? I mean it looks pretty good, but I've seen much better (Infamous and Ryse).
FH2 has one of the cleanest image quality I've seen on consoles:
What AA solution are they using?

Looks like plain old 4xMSAA to me. Thin features like the wires are reasonably effectively AAed, which rules out simple post-process solutions, the (presumably alpha-tested) foliage has no AA at all, which is again points to MSAA rather than any kind of post-process, and gradients on near-vertical/horizontal edges show 3 transitional shades, which indicates 4x rather than 2x.
It also matches what the first game used back on the 360.

Look at the highlights on the hood around the air intakes, and the specular highlights down the left side of the grill. Then as others say, zoom in on the tree and there's no AA there. It's going to miss the artefacts of other AA techniques which is a plus, but it ain't gonna win no best in class IQ awards.FH2 has one of the cleanest image quality I've seen on consoles:

Just a note, I'm going to unspoiler and (hopefully) routinely update the X1 resolutions post with evidence links (all the games currently on there already I wont link though, too much work, and I'm personally sure all are near 100% proved/researched when I made the list originally)
http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=1871990&postcount=2011
For example, today I will add Forza Horizon 2 @1080, with this link http://www.joystiq.com/2014/06/08/forza-horizon-2-hits-1080p-30fps-on-xbox-one/ and note the add. Actually probably I'll spoiler tag the add list with dates.
So anybody can add in here (available games I guess for this thread), or PM me with any adds, and hopefully I will continue to diligently update the list myself. A big round of fall games coming up...

Horizon according to the analysis DF has done on the game, its 1080p a perfect 30fps and uses 4x MSAA. Sorry if this has been posted already.
Apparently PVZ Garden Warfare for the Xbox One received a resolution boost with the game's latest patch. http://www.inquisitr.com/1509635/pv...umps-up-xbox-one-resolution-adds-taco-fights/
This makes the first X1 game to receive a res boost that isnt a day one patch.
It isnt a boost to 1080p though. It is an unknown res at the moment. Can anyone find a post patch screen shot and pixel count it?

Seems pretty pointless. The difference between 900p and 9xxp is likely to be pretty infinitesimal.Apparently PVZ Garden Warfare for the Xbox One received a resolution boost with the game's latest patch. http://www.inquisitr.com/1509635/pv...umps-up-xbox-one-resolution-adds-taco-fights/
