The GTX was launched around June 15/16th and the HD 4850 was launched around June 19th and the 4870 around June 25th, from my understanding.
Aye, Nvidia moved up the launch of the GTX 260/280 by one or two weeks to prevent AMD from launching 4850 first.

Maybe you're only considering PC parts but Xenos was the first unified shader GPU.G80 was first unified Shader chip
Charlie's comments that are specifically geared towards nV are generally wrong, and then you if we look at Faud's record with Inq that was bad after the Inq, much more acurrate, during Faud's Inq stay, his article style was very similiar to Charlie's is now, coicidence I don't think so.
There's still no "confuse the hell out of everyone" option and "other" is too vague for me.
By the way who's following the latest Forceware problems under Vista for GT200?

Bricks will be shat, grown men shall weep! How will NVidia counter the release of HD5xxx?
So its most definitely started:
ATI will wish they'd done DX11 differently when they see G300
DICE has dx11 for the battlefield series.
Not sure what one will be but thier new frostbite engine 2 uses dx11.
so I bet that is also why Nvidia again try to downplay evolution.

I read that as "When they see how awesome G300 is going to be, ATI will wish they had done their DX11 differently but they will have to wait until their next full generation in 2011 before they can counter the G300 awesome"even if ATI learns about Nvidia's 2010 GPU, they won't be able to change their own 2010 chip

Wow, so much stupidity collected together! But now I suddenly feel like I'm an expert in this field, so thanks for that at least!
