How well is psp doing?

i think i have to withdraw my skeptacism about recent PSP sales. not so much because of the news that sony shipped 6 million units (they usualy ship in excess), but because pretty much every place around me just sold out of PSPs. of course, living next to the most deployed active duty army division might have something to do with that. a bunch of guys i know are leaving soon (this weekend or early febuary) and are picking up PSPs with their tax returns.
