Heavenly Sword update (E3 cometh..)

BTW, will this game have online modes or will it be singleplayer only?

Even a cooperative mode would be nice with say a blond Nariko or something.

This game imo is the most impressive piece of software shown at e3 so far. I mean this game seems to be the only game to live up to last years target footage, if not surpasse it. However I am a bit dissapointed that NT didn't show any of the massive outdoor battle scenes that were shown at last years e3.

Could any of the NT memebers maybe give us an update on the progress of those levels?

loved the boss voice :)

and while there was action on the main arena, take a look at what the boss is doing in the background! loll he is hyping the king, pulling the boys morale up eheh

another thing.... did the bodies disapear? i think not...

lightning is spot on in that level.... everything feels like afternoon

600€ wont cost to much if games are like this

Ok, I'm done with MS's press conference. Heavenly Sword is officially my Best of E3 winner :D

I think I might have to agree... will wait for stuff from actual e3, but it's look like HS is what you gotta beat, as far as playable goes.

I would have to agree that for, PLAYABLE, Heavenly Sword was by far the most interesting/impressive.

BUT WHAT ABOUT BLOOD! ANSWER ME!!!

Games are always more fun with utterly gratuitous violence/gore

:(

Guys what's up with the outdoor scenes? Are they just ask fun as the indoor ones? Does it play like the N3 game for 360? Or is it better?

I must know!!

I think I've already posted my praise in another thread, but after watching the HD-gameplay trailers numerous times at home last night, I must say this title whipped the floor with just about anything outthere. Got to love the way the whole place seems alive and the fighting looks to be really fun as well. I definately can't wait to see more!

This thing looked phenomenal. Now change the main character's face already :devilish: Asian Lara Croft + small eyes = no go .

Looked nice, but I didn't understand the gameplay. From what I saw you just stood in the same round arena, and enemies came down, you fought them. Then more enemies came, and you fought them.
Are you not free to move around in the gameworld at will, or do you get to move only after having fought enough enemies (like good old "Final Fight" for example)?

This was just a demo, in the developer interview he mentioned that the part you see is just a small part of the overall level, and ofcourse there are the huge open end areas with 100's of guys to fight we have seen last year.

Nope. Sorry Bad_Boy I think you mean 1,000s of guys. DeanoC said it himself.;)
Your right hehe. :)

To be more specific, seems there will be 3 modes of combat.
-1 on 1 (shown on some gametrailers.com gameplay footage, the "boss" fight of that specific level?)
-1 vs groups of people (shown in gameplay in the gamplay footage)
-1 vs 1000's of people (shown last year at e3)

I like the fact that you can pickup weapons your enemies drop, and also pickup random objects to use as weapons.

I must sound like a stinker recently but I watched the HD gametrailers footage of Heavenly Sword and it's just not doing it for me. The ANIMATIONS are REALLY cool..the art and effects actually look average to me. Doesn't look like anything really new.

I like the shadow casted on the arena and the light..and the fact that the guys on the ground are affected if you fight near them..other than that.

This game moves great..thats all I get from it.
