They should have integrated this scene from Ai trailer A:

Upon “waking” we see little John and Halsey meeting for the first time. The coin toss, "Eagle!" scene from Fall of Reach. Make sure we can hear the clink of the metal ringing. End it with him catching the coin. Hold that shot.

For ultimate fanservice it was a really important part in Fall of Reach Novel if you ask me(And for me personally as a lore junkie). And it always comes back in theFoR novel about how John is either extremely skilled or Lucky.

Olly Olly Oxen Free, Olly Olly Oxen was the mantra we were taught to use when we were training during runs. When you were running you controlled your pace by making sure your foot hit the ground on the first letter as you repeated it. I haven't got a clue as to where it came from or what it means tough!

The soundtrack is out and it kicks ass IMHO.

The one thing you can criticize is that it's missing a track as strong and characteristic as the old Halo main theme. But there are several memorable ones, and all of them are highly refined and very well done.

So where's the gameplay trailer?

Closing eyes and steps again into the possible ultra spoilerish HALO 4 thread:

Question: is it possible to buy HALO 4 from the Xbox store and get a digital copy of the game, pre-load it and play it right at release in the night at 00:00:01?

I pre-ordered it at a local gamestop, but I am a bit spoiled by steam, where you can preload stuff and I suddenly wondered if this is possible with HALO 4 on Xbox?

Thanks to who ever answers (I obviously cannot hear you, because my eyes are closed, please speak louder?!)

I really wish I could buy Halo 4 as a downloadable game. I hate discs.

I know MS can do this because I (re)purchased Reach that way. Why don't they do this for new releases? Just to not piss off retailers?

Maybe, but Sony recently started with their day-1 digital thing on PS3 as well (already had it on Vita), so it should be possible you'd think.

I agree. Would definitely rather get it as game on demand than physical disc. Think they don't release day and date to appease brick and mortar retail partners.

Retail got a advantage, you can have the game before the launch, generally one or two days, sometime 2 weeks before…

And GoD is really to expensive, for a product you can't resell, lend to friends&familly… If you're got two consoles in your house, you can't switch from both, etc… Not a interested deal.

I've seen the 1st two levels of the campaign and it looks absolutely beautiful in every sense of the word.Also, the first mp map pack will be released in December with the 2nd in February and the 3rd in April... :smile:

Review copies are out for at least a week by now so they'll have plenty of time to record and analyze footage... This is Microsoft's most important game of the entire year, I'm sure they'll be as thorough as possible
