Formula 1 - 2014 Season

Yes.

Looking at how stable the cars are in the corners today I wouldn't be surprised if the current cars actually have more downforce but they are also a "lot" (close to 40kg) heavier and at least 200hp down on power with the v10's being around 1000hp.

Has some extra info on cars from different years regarding weight etc.

You also need to take tires and any changes into account plus qualifying rules. Nevertheless a car with wings, kers, f1 grade brakes so much horsepower and weighing so little us still going to be absurd fast.

I am more worried about the spectacle that is f1 racing. It's hard to explain but it seems as it gets more technical it gets harder to follow the races.

??? What do you mean?

In 2004 there were neither Korean circuit, nor American in Texas, nor Abu Dhabi, nor India.

All records except the ones at Silverstone and Catalunya, are with their respective holders from Years 2004 (or in a single case 2005)

Oh, true, so only Räikkönen & Alonso, which of both drive at Ferrari :p

New Jersey, Mexico and Korea are out, final list of races next season:

Interesting last 2 races, because the Brasilians dont like the flintstones, but the people of Abu Dhabi do.

Each driver will get permanent number instead of the current model where your teams performance decides your number:
- Available numbers range from #2 to #99
- #1 is reserved for last years champion if he wants to use it, otherwise he can use which ever number he now chooses
- The drivers will get to pick their numbers by themselves, if two drivers want the same number, whoever finished higher in 2013 championship gets the pick and the other one has to take some other number

Last race will give double drivers & constructors championship points

Now with this FIA will have more control on driver's performance and points they take...

Last race will give double drivers & constructors championship points

Hmm, this is an interesting and actually a quite good idea. So, the last race would possibly have a larger weight on the final standings. Perhaps it would be even funnier if they add other two races and make the last three like this. So, until the very end you will not know who the champion would be.

This "double points" idea is ludicrous. What next, give the teams a joker to play to give them double points at any given track?

If the double points system had been in use before, Kimi would have won the championship in 2003, Massa in 2008 and Alonso in 2012
