I don't think the gearbox in your M3 is like an F1 quick-shift gearbox of insanity, though.
The FXX is a special case, because if you'd bought one, you'd never get it home. Ferrari would keep it, service it, and transport it for you to a track where you could drive it around, so the gearbox in it can be very F1-like, as in: work for about 1200 kilometres and then change it.Oh I agree. I do have the DCT in my M3 and that thing shifts outrageously quick. Of course it aint no F1 car for that I need to get a Ferrari 458 or a FXX or something like that. But hey close enough for me .
Really? I guess Ferrari comes to you and services it then, provided you have a sufficient garage.Actually Ferrari does let you take the FXX home. Several owners got theirs at home.

Though, I don't think FXX is road legal.

With just two weeks before winter testing starts in Spain on 1 February, and teams hurriedly putting the finishing touches to their new cars, we take a look at the key factors that will shape the races this season.
What? Are you suggesting that you have work to do?! Everyone knows sport is more important than anything; more important than love, more important than work, more important than eating or sleeping even.Bah, don't tease me!
Oh, believe me, my one and only religion is still in perspective and everything will make way for the ~biweekly attendance in front of the TV, I'm just annoyed that I still have another week to wait before we see the first car released, another two weeks before we start seeing some performances and another 8 weekes before the first race! What? another 8 weekes before the first race!
Which launch number will we be up to by then? We're already at 2 and counting...Surely by that time we won't be also interested in any GF100 launch .
Good, I thought we were losing you and I had to get Ross Brawn here to spill some tech details about the new Silver Arrow.Oh, believe me, my one and only religion is still in perspective and everything will make way for the ~biweekly attendance in front of the TV, I'm just annoyed that I still have another week to wait before we see the first car released, another two weeks before we start seeing some performances and another 8 weekes before the first race!
