Look at the 'about 3DMark2003' thread I started - there is a way to switch on of the issues off. Futuremark are investifgating other issues.

What bothers me most is the fact that we don't know if they are doing this in other benchmarks?

Is there some way we could detect if they are doing this in quake, serious sam, aquinox, or other benchmarks?

This for me is the most interesting point - and shows the true value of 3dmark.

The games guys are focused on delivering games, and not on delivering benchmarks. If someone pointed out an issue like this one, they'd not have the time or resources to investigate. Futuremark can.

1. if HARDOCP was a beta member I am quite sure Kyle would manage to get the development tools to nVidia...

2. Rockman you are right on the $$.


for all of the people who state that what nVidia did makes 3dmark 03 and futuremark look bad, you are wrong. Cheating only makes the cheater look bad.
