Incoming retro game ...

Konami and renowned developer WayForward have dropped a new gameplay trailer for Contra: Operation Galuga, the latest in the legendary line of 2D action side-scrollers. This trailer shows off six of the playable heroes of the Earth Marine Corps, including Bill Rizer, Lance Bean, Ariana, Lucia, Lt. Stanley Ironside, and Probotector. Contra: Operation Galuga is due out in early 2024 for PC (via Steam), Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

You know how people say "it looks like a PS2 game" when a game has a less modern look? I think we are past that now. This looks like a Wii game.

Looks like Terry Davis, writer of TempleOS, was ahead of his time, as it had some features that were similar I believe. I mean you should be able to embed games in text editors.
