Criminal Crackdown renamed: Calling All Cars

It seems Sony asked Jaffe to rename Criminal Crackdown for legal reasons. And he is now calling it "Calling all Cars".

It also seems he is a bit sore about Gears of War being so similar to God of War.

Really? I kinda like it more than the orginal name. Kinda reminds me of the old cartoons where they would scream out "CALLING ALL CARS, CALLING ALL CARS" over the police radio's . Kinda gives a better idea of what the game is about; Which in the least, is a very cartoony cops and robbers theme.

But to each his own.

Both of the names are fine, Criminal crackdown being a bit better however but Calling all cars sounds pretty good too.

I had a similar reaction as LB (maybe not as extreme as his) until I read this -- it does seem to fit with old cartoons. Made me chuckle just thinking about it.
