The new card will be called VapourForce.
Apparantly, I will only be receiving empty boxes with the specs of the card on a piece of paper (doubles as a coupon) inside the box.
You send in the coupon and your card will be sent out some time next year.

The only other "FX" trademark that Nvidia owns is "ShaderFX". That sounds more like a marketing name for a specific part of the NV30 rather than the name of the chip itself. I am willing to bet that it will be called "Zforce" even though I think it could be called something better.

"Omen" was the only name I liked, and it seems that one isn't a possibility. It even seemed to fit the "O" like bubble around the chip.

CineFX 5000 graphics card? Hmm...

Maybe they just outgrew the "scary"/"power" reminscent naming convention...but it does seem like it would be a tough sell as a name to inspire a fanbase.
