I believe he means the 128-bit HDR render contexts. While the final framebuffer is still 32-bit, you can at least render a pass to an HDR context and utilize it for its numerical advantages.

That's what I could have thought unless he said 256bit, not 128bit
 
Day and Night cycle? Watching the new trailer shows that. And his nightmares come to get him at night. Looks fairly wicked. Cant wait to play it.
