[360, PS3] Crysis 2

How big are the possibility that cryteck has a working mlaa cpu/gpu algorithm for 360 seeing how they are making a 360 exclusive and probably get more help from microsoft?

As I understand it, you can do 720p or combine two low res images on the 360 for stereoscopic 3D. The latter has already been done.

Extremely heavy compression & the colour pallette are fooling you. The edge aliasing is pretty apparent to me in a few spots. ;)

Really! Thanks for the clarification - console version it is then?
Nevertheless, I watched the vid several times by now and I must say that this looks really good...I am not talking solely about graphics but about the gameplay and action, got me hooked!!

Just watched the onstage demo gameplay and I'm pretty certain that's the console version isn't it? It's missing motion blur, not so sharp textures and signs of slow downs, still looks great but very possible on consoles. The 3d trailer afterward was the version in question though and left me in awe.

Maybe not MLAA but a similar solution like in Metro 2033 which has less than 5ms impact on 360 GPU. For PC perhaps as it has very low cost so far with experimental unoptimised GPU MLAA version done by a couple of persons as a project (separate from Crytek though).

Guys it's somewhat hard to believe that the Crysis on-stage demo was from the 360 version - looked awesome and the frame-rate was much better than that choppy and full of tearing GT trailer...to be honest I though that this was the PC version played with a 360 pad.

If it is the 360 version then Crytek did an excellent job...talking about high-end engines on consoles is Id on E3? I want to finally see some gameplay videos from Rage. :(

Hah, the game crashed and revealed it was the PC version

:Faceplant:!

I saw that and it was no stream it was a first priority program running and 360 pad. Anyway I hope that was not higher settings, lack of object motionblur, particle res, texture res etc etc.

Yeah, it looked to good to be console version :)

I'm talking about previous gameplay of course, this only confirms it was from pc :)

That's the tragedy: they're showing it on PC, but only at console settings T________________T

Somehow what "MazingerDude" said at Neogaf about the week(s) old Crysis 2 video image having tearing in such pattern that it was above 120Hz and PC generated makes now sense.
