Starfield [XBSX|S, PC, XGP]

I'm testing the new Update on Xbox. This is AWESOME! You can already activate many even better additional, gameplay-shaping mods, which will completely reform the game. There are a few paid items, but most of them are free mods, including complete missions, complete skin packs, new special enemies (e.g. huge mechs, which are a real challenge!!), more diverse ships and new weapons, new companions, and lots of interesting thing can be implemented.

People, Starfield has come to life!

Ah! It removes that crappy "fog" that exists basically everywhere and makes things look all washed out? I wanted to believe it was artistic choice / thematic / ambiance for certain areas, until it became sorely obvious it existed basically everywhere not inside a ship. UUGH.

Yes, this mod removes the gray filter from the game, which, by the way, was moderated by the developers in the previous update. However, now that it has been completely cleaned and I don't know if the modder has added something to the colors, but the result is now sensational! Now it shows how high-quality HDR the game is capable of, and I have to say that it looks better in all areas, the quality of the materials and the lighting effects are also better.

Haha, I was about to post your translation and help you with the image embedding, but you kept editing your post so I let you work it out :D

Really interesting pics! I'm gonna have to check this out...

It would be worth retesting the Xbox Series X version of Starfield, as performance has been improved again in the current update. Visual, that is, in quality mode and with the 60 FPS switch, the game shows values above 60 FPS in many places, which is impressive! True, not in all areas, but on those planets where the game is more optimized, the game produces a surprisingly fluid speed. Compared to the initial 30, this is a huge improvement.

Starfield has a new DLC and absolutely no one cares...
(apart to complain about the price)

I started Starfield recently with high hopes and an open mind after Skyrim and Oblivion, but I stopped pretty quickly tbh. It may be more on me than the game itself as I don't have a lot of time for games these days and it's very slow and deep. Maybe if I had the hours to kill back when I played Skyrim I'd have enjoyed it more, but I don't think it was just that.

The two biggest issues IMO are the immersion breaking load screens and interplanetary jumps (which are akin to fast travel in a game like Skyrim which I specifically avoid because they're immersion breaking), as well as the quite poorly put together progression and skills system - at least what I could gather of it from the first few hours of play.

Also the graphics were very hit and miss. In some sections it looks great, while in others it looks like a last gen game. And the face rendering....

I may give it another go at some point, it certainly had some appealing elements, but probably not until I have a lot more time to sink into it.

I picked up Starfield again once the expansion released, though I never even finished the main storyline either, which says a lot about the game. One thing I can say positive is that the hand crafted space station at the start of the questline looks just amazing with LUMA HDR mod on my OLED TV. The questline itself, though I haven't finished it yet, is somewhat average Bethesda, nothing special at all. What was especially egregious is just how little Andreja responds to being back on her home planet. There are a few snippets here and there but they placed so little attention to that part.

I think Starfield is a very good game, especially thanks to the updates this summer. I recommend a few Mods that make the game much more interesting and enjoyable. These can be used as a new game or with an already started save.

More and better menu system: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/s...b98-4b21-8bec-09caeef626db/PraxisUI_Inventory

More immersive progression system and more enjoyable fights: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/s...-4868-88d5-1158af46c131/Royal_Leveled_Enemies

Better NPC faces: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/s...-4592-838f-eb862dd8607e/Better_Crowd_Citizens

You can have several companions at the same time, whom you can command with commands:

Better Dynamic Weather: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/s...48df-a0f7-dcead71a98f8/Better_Dynamic_Weather

These are just a few of the many, there are tons of good ones and they appear almost daily!
A little help, the point is that when you added the Mods in the load order, exit the game and close it (on Xbox start/exit on the dashboard), then restart the game now with the Mods.
