Xenos inferior specwise to RSX

This thread, from the name alone, can only be destined for disaster. What's sad is, supposedly I'm on the 'Sony side,' but I have so much more faith in the Xenos than a lot of these 'switch my team in an instant' XBox fanbois. I'm not saying that B3D is littered with them - though post E3 I think there's too many fanbois of all denominations wandering around - it's just something I'm seeing all over the place. Like sheep, these people will react to any little bit of PR information and start freaking out if it's 'bad' news or claiming their console is invincible if it's 'good' news.

Invariably these are the same sorts of people that use words like 'owned,' 'pwnd,' or any of the rest of that crap.

Xenos is an incredible technology achievement, and it will give the 360 flexibility throughout it's life. But there's wisdom in NVidia's approach as well, especially pre-WGF 2.0. We'll see who's is better in the end, but I hardly think we can start crowning the winner in graphics just yet.

Pathetic.

(what's even sadder than all of this is that this site auto-edits the word fan-boy, forcing me to use an i; why in the world?)

All that matters is the final image on the screen. If they both look the same (Which they will ) then no one is going to care about the specs excapt techies and hardcore fans of the systems .

MS will do with Xbox360 what they did with Xbox, and that is make screenshots look good, but at the expense of frame rate. In Xbox' case, sacrificing frame rate allowed its screenshots to look a lot better than PS2's screenshots, but in the case of Xbox360, sacrificing framerate may only be enough to keep its screenshots from looking entirely outclassed by PS3's screenshots.

This is almost as ill-thought out and rediculous post as the topic starter. Someone put a fork in this thread, it's done.

I'm guessing you're talking about CGI screenshots from PS3 games...
