What should CAPCOM do now?

Capcom hasn't made a great game in 5 years.

Mega Man Battle Network series?

Capcom = mediocre. They're still trying to get a handle on coding in full 3D!

Um... wha? Devil May Cry is full 3D, last I checked. And Mega Man X7 is going to be Cel-Shaded 3D, with some kind of neat integration of 2D sidescrolling and free-roaming 3D...

And then we have Resident Evil 4...

DMC had fixed camera angles. It's not a true 3D game with full camera control.
Well, cinematic camera movements are one of the great things that are possible in 3D games. Why would you need a full camera control to consider something to be 'real 3D', when you obviously lose good chunk of coolness that you have with pre-determined camera paths (and coolness factor is something DMC was obviously shooting for)

Well, DMC ceased to be cool the moment that I heard the dialogue.
Oh, I agree, it was certainly meant to be cool for kids or someone of younger age. I just mentioned that because weird camera angles and movements really attentuated some scenes in a cinematic way, like when you first meet the spider boss, and such. That would not be possible if the game wasn't fully 3D.

Fixed camera paths will always hurt playability a bit, but can vastly improve presentation and cinematic style of the scene, making it more enjoyable to look at.

Mega Man Network? Never heard of it. Please go on...

Yes, they're *gasp* GBA originals.

Look 'em up. The first two are already out in the States, and the third will be in a month or two (it's out in Japan).

Rockman EXE in Japan, Megaman: Battle Network everywhere else...
