Since there was alot of debate in a couple of other topics about handheld preferences, I was wondering what people thought about the possible options. I think I've already made clear what I'm interested in and why, now it's your turn. Yeah, I realize it's alot of options, but what the heck, (I actually wanted more but the forum made me cut one out).

Edit: Added Virtual Boy to the list of useless, obsolete handheld systems.

i would certainly like to see a portable DC with scaled media and wireless broadband support for online play and built in static ram as apposed to memory cards.

-btw i enjoyed your reference to Michael Moore's misquote of Heston. I hope you found it as funny as i did seeing michael moore trying to get away with completely misrepresenting some one by cutting and pasting his speaches from a span of over 2 years.

Yeah, I thought it was appropriate, seeing as how most guns are about as useful as a GameAxe. Although come to think of it, I'm pretty sure GameAxes aren't used to kill thousands of people each year in this country, and millions worldwide.

oddly enough a great portion of the US and Canadian population think otherwise Clashman...Cars kill people to. So does Crack. Weren't you supportive of legalizing hard drugs? Guns wouldn't kill if not for the intent of the user.

I don't drive a car, and I don't do drugs.

And no, I was not in favor of legalizing hard drugs. I was in favor of decriminalization. There's a big difference.

Voted PSP, I like its expandability than its mobile gaming. I think I will use it as a mobile phone and PDA (and may be play games on it 1% of the time).

You don't drive a car? What is your mode of transportation? Do you avoid driving do to the possibility of contributing to pollution and global warming? Does sharing either two of this tidbits of information change the fact that intent is really the only reason why guns kill? The accidently death argument is as mundane as arguing we should return to horse and buggy carriages to avoid the number of automotive casualities experienced each year.

And no, I was not in favor of legalizing hard drugs. I was in favor of decriminalization. There's a big difference.

Are you suggesting we should reduce the punishments for illegal hard drugs?

sounds fair enough. Do you think clashman really intended people to pick a selection for game specific reasons though?

I bike, walk, and bus when it gets too cold.

More than that, I suggest that punishment does little to reduce drug use. Treatment and rehabilitation are the best options. Drug additiction is a disease, and shouldn't be a crime. Major drug dealing, on the other hand, I do recommend punitive measures for.

Edit: But, I suggest that the discussion of these particular topics end here, and if absolutely needs be, pick up in the general discussion. Preferably without the usual bickering that accompanies them.

Plenty of people are killed on buses and by buses each year. Rather evil and useless contraptions don't you think?

An interesting suggestion. When you state drug use do you really mean drug abuse? I would believe those two are quite different matters entirely as far as the law is concerned.

Treatment and rehabilitation are the best options.

Sounds like a plan, however can you garauntee results?

Drug additiction is a disease,

[chagrin]like porn or video game addictions are diseases?[/chagrin]

and shouldn't be a crime.

and what are your feelings about possession of illegal pornography?

Major drug dealing, on the other hand, I do recommend punitive measures for.

And what of the countries who distribute these chemicals readily?

Moore showed a clip from one speech when introducing nra and then, in chronological order, showed clips from the speech given in Denver. granted i can see how this could be all be very confusing to you Legion, or anyone else who might be a completely delusional, but i suppose that if your goal is to start a baseless off topic argument then i can see were you are coming from.

as for the topic, i don't really think you all are sissies but i just wanted to see the results and don't get into handled gaming myself.

I'm not really into handheld gaming either, but I think that a portable GC, (especially if you could hook it up to a TV and use it like a regular GC), or even the PSP or a theoretical DCP could rekindle some interest to the point where I'd be willing to plunk down some money on a system.

Kyleb i wasn't confused at all by the chronology of the speach. What i am confused by is your continuing denial of the visual and auditory evidence right in front of you. The clip of heston's speach directly coincides with what Moore's opposition has accused him of. I showed you this several times by lining up Moore's video with the actual speach provided in the New York Times and varying other media references including several NRA websites. As you should have been able to see if not for your political myopia was Moore's frequent cuts and omitions from his rendering of the speach. Infact various parts of the speach presented in the clip weren't even given at denver the year of colubine. The "cold dead hands" speach read quite differently from how Moore portrayed it.

I picked the GCP because there's already a nice GCN game library available and developers are already familiar with the programming environment. Also has anyone noticed that a GOD is roughly the size of GBA SP? Not saying that a GCP would be the same size as a GBA SP, just found the coincidence intriguing. I suspect a GCP would have similar dimensions to a GBA SP except it would be 1" wider to accomodate the extra buttons and thumb sticks.

how about a larger screen then the GBASP. I am a wee bit tired of Nity's portable monopoly. The market is way over due competition as evident by its stagnacy.

Frankly, I'm not a fan of the SP at all. Much preferred the look and feel of the GBA. A clamshell or traditional GB configuration would be a downer for me.

I picked a gc since its the one i want the most that is most likely to be made.

Although i'd love to see a dreamcast with a kyro chipset and a faster sh4 .

Personally i'd like to see powerVR take their newest line of chips and replace the DC's chip (PowerVR2).

I am sure they could just reduce a Hikaru board to portable.

-a bit off topic but doesn't the Naomi 2 support dual PowerVR2s?

Was the Model 3 less powerful then the Naomi or just less expensive?

Naomi I believe was able to scale up to 16 of the video chip.

Naomi 2 I believe had the elan chip and it would scale 2 video chips for each elan chip. I believe don't quote me.

I would love to see a new power vr video card for the pc let alone for a console or portable.

Yes of course. The GCP would need a higher resolution 4" screen maybe even a widescreen. Taking a GBA SP form factor and widening it a little like the image below would be the best way IMO.
