What are you playing now? [2007-2018]

I am going to see what Process Explorer identifies the GTAIV.exe file as by alt-tabbing out of the game and launching Process Explorer because SecuROM doesn't allow the game to run if Process Explorer is running at the same time.

You should be able to tell in the task manager.

32 bit, and LaaTiDo confirms that GTAIV.exe is large address aware.
Just to be a bit pedantic, that only shows that GTA IV is 32-bit only. It doesn't necessarily show that it's large address aware, as that would require demonstrating that it uses more than 2GB of RAM on occasion.

Of course, I wouldn't doubt it: it's just a compiler switch, after all. But I am not certain it actually uses more than 2GB in any case. I still suspect the issue with 32-bit windows was that 2GB of RAM just weren't available for use.

It is built with the /LARGEADDRESSAWARE:YES linker flag as confirmed by LaaTiDo as I said.

I just finished playing the PC demo of Trine. A platformer which is played with 3 characters with different abilities, between which can be switched at any time. I think it looks absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn't resist preordering it through Steam (you also get one of their previous games Shadowgrounds).

If you have the time to spare, I really suggest checking the demo out.

I'm....obsessed....with Fable 2. The only thing I regret is not having an XBL account to obtain the DLC. This easily surpasses the orginal. I'm playing as a female and hoping to get pregnant to see what all the family hoopla is about. Combat is pretty simple, yet grows repetitive after a few fights. Once you obtain flourishes, though, you can kill people in slow motion, making them flail throughout the air, which never gets old. The dog redefines digital companionship. It behaves so realistically, it's almost scary. It rolls around on the ground, fetches balls, waits outside of buildings for you, finds treasure which can be upgraded through dog training books, and even bites downed enemies. The world is gorgeous. Lionehead really did a nice job with creating a living, breathing environment. My few complaints are with jobs, except for bounty hunting or being an assassin, all follow basically the same formula. You comlpete jobs by timing pressing the x button on a moving meter, and this grows dull fast. When I read you could be a blacksmith, I was hoping you were able to craft your own weapons after a certain amount of time, but you can't. It just pays the bills along with other jobs of equal reward. Plus, the magic trail puts the game on complete easy mode. I'm relatively certain you can disable it, which I intend to do on my second time around.

In summation, Fable 2 is just as good, or better than it's predecessor, offering a variety of new features, improved graphics and a longer storyline. Now if only it can make it's way to PC, I'll be one happy little camper.

Just finished Gears of War
I thought it was quite good but nowhere near *best game evar* that some people seem to think it is

Playing through Medal of Honor Airborne on PC again. Such an under appreciated game. I honestly think it's better than CoD4's single player especially since CoD has been the same pretty much since the first, except with MP changes. Only problem is it's so short. Short but sweet. Plus I love the complicated shooting mechanics when in aiming down the sight LOL. Makes you value your shots!

Also making another run through of HL2: Episode 2 with Fake Factory's Cinematic Mod 10. Pretty interesting, though nothing ground breaking.

As far as games I've started and need to beat, the list gets big: Titan Quest, STALKER Clear Sky, Far Cry 2, Lost Planet, Rainbow Six Vegas, Penumbra Ep 1 (then I need to beat the next two parts afterwards lol). Then I got games I have barely even started like Viva Pinata, Space Siege, Gears of War, DCS: Blackshark (waiting to get a proper flight stick + throttle + rudder pedals first before really delving into it), Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Jade Empire, ArmA 1, etc......... Too many games lol. I need to focus on finishing them individually hehe. Then I got all my Far Cry and Half Life 2 mods that I really need to play and beat LOL. On top of all this there are a whole bunch of games I want to buy too like Dreamfall, the older Total War games, some older RPGs, Elder Scrolls 3 and 4 + expansions, World in Conflict: Soviet Assault, Company of Heroes..............

I cant get moh airborne to install

ps: logitech g940 is comming out soon

My GAWD *Drools* Price? Saitek rudder pedals by themselves cost more than $100, and the best stick and throttle systems cost $200 from Thrustmaster and Saitek. Question is, do I invest such large amounts of capital in these crazy expensive accessories (which I would actually use) or do I save my cash for building a desktop in the upcoming months >_<, oh the mental bombardment!

:O Are those dual independent split throttles I see O_O?

*Edit* It's $300 for the whole thing, not a bad price. I think I'll definitely grab a set, and perhaps an IR tracker system too :p

And on the MOHA install thing, I had that issue. There is a work around for it I'm sure. I think I had to delete the PhysX drivers from my computer first because I had much newer ones for Mirror's Edge specifially. Since MOHA uses PhysX, I believe it causes an error if you have a newer version that what it's looking for during installation. I only bought MOHA back in February for the great price of $10 at Best Buy, which made me very happy to say the least. Once I got the installation going and the game patched, things are good and dandy. Too bad EA pretty much handed this game out, and kind of abandoned it as well as the comprehensive modding tools it planned on releasing, which of course, were never released. Such a shame.
