Very spoilery (don't open if you haven't finished the game). An example of indirect specular (not screen space)

I'm guessing that's part of the baked lightmap? Also their capsule for character indirect shadows blends in nicely here

Screenshots, Video recording and Photo mode must be the best features of PS4 for any game for Beyond3d people. Who cares about gameplay or fps. As long as you can capture any scene and scrutinize it in any detail :D

Oh, i was wrong then! Gotta go re-read their presentations sometime...

Well, you are not exactly wrong either, the AA in The Order is comprised by an EQAA pass with a custom resolve plus a temporal pass to reduce flickering as RaD have said here

It is more stable than U4, which is leaning more on the TAA side and probably using more frame info but watching them side by side i prefer Uncharted 4 personally, both have pros and cons and both are pretty much state of the art when it comes to AA imo.

The photomode really is excellent. I love how you can make characters and NPCs invisible too, very nice touches all over, and easy to manipulate. I liked the button layout in DriveClub photo mode a bit better though :D

That final thing is so beautifully rendered it reminds me of that Paris demo but better.

Here's an interesting discovery, remember when i noticed that the final model of Drake did not have arm hair? Well he still doesn't, i've analyzed all his outfits. Guess who does though?

Rafe, both in the model viewer and gameplay. Still not as detailed as the teaser but looks like they didn't cut it out completely.

I wonder why he's the only one who has this?

The way this game handles extremely bright elements without losing detail is incredible, love the wavy particle explosions in the game too :)

Compared to others the HDR lighting is really untouchable, details are always vivid and with tons of colour and different levels of brightness, too amazing :D

Just curious to know, would a HDR capable tv make the game even better looking in terms of displaying more brightness, shades of grey and better color due to a wider color gamut? If so would it apply to any game that has linear space HDR rendering?

Pretty sure you need a HDR signal to be sent to the TV, for it to display the extended range. And pretty sure current consoles can only output non-HDR signals.

Oh, is this a hardware limited issue or can it be done via a firmware update? Would be a damn shame if we have to wait till next gen for such a substantial feature, unless Neo saves us of course.
