At the time Axsider could do no more than hint. That was over a year ago. All that info which (s)he couldn't comment on then is public now, so Axsider can explain exactly what (s)he meant, and then we'll understand that the comments were based on real knowledge rather than empty comments phrased such that people could read whatever they want into them.

For me, if there's no reference back to what was meant, I can only guess Axsider is a phoney. Presenting info in such a way (contributing nothing of use for anyone in a rather gloating 'I know something you don't' manner) has no benefit for the forum unless we can trust that these opinions are coming from personal experience - wherein the merit of the posts is in reporting an opinion on the state of things. So either show these opinions are based on something substantial by referring back to previous comments, or your reputation will be one of troll and I for one will record that so people visiting the forum will know to ignore you.

Why in the hell am I posting here? Because it makes fun. When I was a kid, there were no "insiders". No developer wanted to post/speak about something. I want to chance that a little.
Well, I can't say much. But I CAN say something...

I cannot believe how some people are still willing to eat from your hand after these ridiculous comments that took you several days to formulate. Could you like come back after few days with some equally as funny explanations to those other claims like

I'd like to remind everyone that this here is a thread about Naughty Dog and not about horoscopes and the likes of it.
So stay on topic. Otherwise this thread is heading for a lock.
 
graphically this is the only title that screams next gen to me, this + possibly crysis, but ild rate this higher technically, personally though, the gameplay (from the little ive seen) looks crap

also Axsider's predictions are nearly as bad as nostrodamuses (ok maybe not that bad), heres my prediction for one of this weekends rugby games 'he who leads at the break, becomes cocky + cocks up' ( im sure ill find a game to fit this description next week )

btw, taking about the ps3, remember about 6 months ago there was talk they couldnt show the ps3, cause they couldnt turn it on without a 'key surprise' beinmg revealed, what was the 'key feature'?
was it just a bullshit excuse cause the ps3 wasnt ready yet?

How would you rate this higher than Crysis? Not that I disagree, I'm just curious as to what your reasoning is. Personally I think the animation potential in this game is amazing. If they can pull off realtime similar to the vid I'll be amazed. Preferably it's physics based. Aside from this though I'd have to say Crysis has the edge technically unless there is an even newer vid of this game I haven't seen?

I think lighting, models and animation are better in the Naughty Dog than on crysis from the videos I've have seen. Uncharetd, in motion, impresses me more, personnally...I might be a little biased because of my love for ND, but I swear that the first time I saw Drake's Fortune on motion, I was in shock ! :LOL:

Crysis may have the edge technically, but conceptually this game sounds WAY cooler.

I love the premise for this game, for some reason I just have the feeling this will be a bust out, blockbuster AAA system seller. If the animation is as good as we're hearing, the story lives up to it's potential, and the GFX look like the trailer, this is a true next gen game that will move PS3's like crazy.

but explain me one thing TheChefO,do you think that the graphics of this game will be the same like the old 8 months trailer ?

No step ahead in terms of improving graphics ?Even also David jeffe said in a interview with gaf that this game now is "jaw-dropping"!!!

Im feeling that old trailer is the minimum that people on this forum hopes for the final build of the game.

Maybe im wrong,maybe :)
