Yes exactly, the style which he uses gives it away and naturally his post history. He has not said anything that makes him credible. He just seems to show up every once in a while and probably hopes that we don't remember who he is... I can't put into words how much I despise that sort of behaviour.

Yup, his post history certainly doesn't add any credibility at all. Just a bunch of, wait and see, Sony will explain it all, most of which never happened.

That's nice to hear, unfortunately I can't say the same to you.
I give Axsider my benefit of the doubt. He may leave the most general hints, and be very excited about those [very vague] hints without any sort of 'real' proof...but the hints he has dropped [to me] in the past flow with what has happened. I don't blame you for being skeptical due to his post history and posting style, thats understandable. Personally I don't think hes a liar at all, maybe just a little too excited though.

If Axsider wants some credibility, all (s)he needs do is explain past hints. What was the E3 'Megaton' noise that was all going to make a lot of sense? Explain the Enemy becomes a friend. What's the Welcome Change we've been shown? What in CES 2006 were we supposed to be looking out for?
At the time Axsider could do no more than hint. That was over a year ago. All that info which (s)he couldn't comment on then is public now, so Axsider can explain exactly what (s)he meant, and then we'll understand that the comments were based on real knowledge rather than empty comments phrased such that people could read whatever they want into them.
For me, if there's no reference back to what was meant, I can only guess Axsider is a phoney. Presenting info in such a way (contributing nothing of use for anyone in a rather gloating 'I know something you don't' manner) has no benefit for the forum unless we can trust that these opinions are coming from personal experience - wherein the merit of the posts is in reporting an opinion on the state of things. So either show these opinions are based on something substantial by referring back to previous comments, or your reputation will be one of troll and I for one will record that so people visiting the forum will know to ignore you.

Not sure about the rest of the vague hints, but I always figured it was Factor 5 developing for PS3.

Some of his posts can make some sense if one "wants to believe", but in all honesty the guy is a fraud and even if some miraculous way he is not, the way he actes is discusting... Compare his posts to those people who we really know to be insiders, the contrast is mind blowing. Perhaps my original post could have been more politically correct, but people like him upsets me, and when I get upset mr bigglesworth gets upset, and when mr bigglesworth gets upset... :smile:
That's always the problem with these hints. They're like weekend paper horoscopes and very open for people to ascribe their own meanings. I Axsider explains his(her*) hints, we'll then see for sure (or not) that he was providing some back door insight. And that'd be cool, 'coz it's nice to hear about good things happening that we'll see soon enough. However, if there's never any reason to trust Axsider, his posts, no matter how well intentioned they might be, are just noise. I remember also that interview about Nintendo Wii that we were going to hear...and never did. Spreading unofficial pseudo-insider talk is not what this forum is about.

FWIW, it seems the next issue of Edge will feature Uncharted. Their teaser page this month features a version of the Naughty Dog paw print. It'll be out in the middle of next month, so it would seem to suggest we'll see it again by then at the latest (if they have an exclusive on it..if not, maybe before).
March should be a good month. Uncharted in Edge, R&C in EGM. Perhaps Sony is finally coming out of its shell again (about time).

It looked more like a HL2 Orange teaser to me. What with the Dog print and orange bubbles like those on the box art.
The HL2 box doesn't have a discernible form to its orange bubbles though (i.e. a paw print). As TTP points out, it's a perfect fit for the ND logo.
