Trailer from Naughty Dog

Am i the only one prefering the 2006 target render lighting?
The latest ones look too bloomy to my taste, having brick and mud walls with a "light aura" (its also used on the first comparison shot of the character model) doesnt feel immersing to my eyes.

Besides that everything looks pretty much a good job on matching the old target render.

I don't believe there was ever a target render shown to the public.

Nope, I prefer the 2006 shot more to becouse the shots look more realistically with that slightly tone of white. The new ones are also good looking but makes it look more like a game than vice versa becouse of the strong colors.

The video in the very first post.

Oh that one. Search for eight days at IGN, you will find it :)

But if you are trying to find this specific game search either for the new title or for "Nuaghty Dog game" or "project

edit: Oh from the PS3 browser you said? Does it support just any Flash movie?

Exactly what I thought. The 2007 shots look like a nice game where the 2007 shots look like cgi. ("duh" I know - but it is what it is. ...and it certainly isn't the "cgi station") ;)

Looks like a fun game though.

Except the AA, it's easily on par IMO ! And given that the game will hit sometimes end of year, I expect to look even better !

Whoa awesome, can't wait to see this game in action, hopefully soon.

I think the change in art-direction is worthwhile. Jungle scenes are heavily saturated. The muted lighting of the E6 demo is fine for temperate climates, but doesn't fit the hungle feel IMO, including a sense of warmth.

I do prefer the old architecture though. The moss-covered pillars were great. The new peeling-brick architecture looks like a brick texture slapped on a few triangles to me.

As far as I'm concerned, the art guy that said on his site a few months ago that the game was looking better than the trailer shown at E3 has been totally vindicated.

wow just looked at the new shots (they now look like the altered shot i done last year WRT colors), my opinion remains the same as it was a year ago, easily the most advanced graphics to date. other developers must be shaking their fists that the bar has been raised by such a huge amount

we'll have lost in real time on ps3............missing only jack and is the same

Yes, but can the mighy cell emulate the mysterious black smoke cloud???

Should be a heck of a game and a special mention also for the latest shots for HS. Bravo guys! PS3 devs are really starting to pick up steam and should provide two stellar examples of AAA software this year. (hopefully this year)
